Tolle App - aber…

Ich nutze diese App schon sehr lange und bin auch sehr zufrieden damit. Tolle Features, alles was ich so benötige. Mein Problem: in hellen Umgebungen ist der Kontrast leider sehr schlecht, da die Pads doch sehr dunkel sind.
Könnte man die Farbgebung der Pads evtl verbessern ?

Absolutely Awesome

ChordPolyPad is awesome!

I use it since a few years now, mostly on my iPad and every time it lets me dive deep into the harmonies. Especially the random chord generation is so inspirational.

Also the UI is really unique. I like it!

The recent update which added chord moods to the randomizer makes it even better!
One of the best app on all my devices!

Keep up the good work!

one of my faves for many years

it’s my favorite way to arrange my chord ideas for songs. it’s just so easy to use, and convenient.

Great!

Would be even greater with a simple chord sequencer.

Best App of it's kind!

Perfect handling of notes and chords with MIDI!
Get it!

Secret weapon

J’ai recommandé cet outil à tellement de personnes ! Je suis ultra fan.

Suggestions :

Best iOS Chord App

Been my go to for years for triggering chords. So glad it’s still getting updates

Great Product And Support

Really liking this app. Took a little time to understand it.
Support was excellent when I e-mailed a question. The support was what sold me on the app.

Perfect!

Usually I don’t write reviews, but this is EXACTLY what I was looking for! And it’s brilliant!

Chord Poly Pad

I'm a GEE-Tar player. Cant read music, dont play a keyboard, just learned enough about MIDI to be extremely dangerous. But, I gotta say, Im having a blast with this app. And the developer seems to understand the things we need and want in EVERY App., such as AUV3, being both stand-alone, being hosted by AUM and most common DAWs, etc., Ableton-Link sync capability, MIDI In/oUT, bla bla, logical layout, intuitive, as simple as possible, both in-App Manual AND a downloadable PDF ( none of that no OFF-line PDF crap!). DUH! We want to look at offline manual on our older Ipads while figuring out the app on our new Ipad. Highly Recommend, one of the best values out there. Thanks Mr. Coulson. Rob H.

Great first impression!!!

Just downloaded this app and I am having a great time playing chord progressions. I Can’t wait to get into more of the detailed settings. This seems like a fun and useful tool to use with other apps to make music intuitive and fun again. It seems to have limited built in sounds in the palate, but I’m pairing with other synth apps to yield more variety of sounds. I had to channel the midi output settings a bit. Maybe I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I got this thing making music rather quickly. I’m thinking this has a lot of potential.

Easy to Use, Easy to Customize, Extremely Useful

I use this app a lot because it is so useful in so many different work flows.
Nice presets, a great chord library, and cool randomization make quick use a breeze.

All of the deeper features that I want are there too. Customizing individual note velocities, global transpose, strum settings, MIDI-input of chords as well as midi triggering of chords … this app is really flexible once you get to know it.

Great to use when making music on an iPad or iPhone. Also superb to use as a controller for a desktop DAW.

Wish it had velocity input from Cubasis

Along with your other apps, I am finding myself wishing it had some realtime velocity control. I know this is possible from playing within the app but I would like to have the same capability with an external keyboard.

Change of heart.

I originally gave this 1 star since it was not recording the midi into beatmaker 3. I reached out to the dev and was advised on how to get it going. Now it works
“ Beatmaker 3 does not record the MIDI from AUv3 MIDI effects. You need to use Beatmaker 3 virtual keyboard to trigger ChordPolyPad, then it will record the notes played by its own keyboard that will trigger ChordPolyPad. This is not a limitation of ChordPolyPad, but a limitation of Beatmaker 3.”

Awesome

Really nice application. I use it with iSymphonic and control it with the op-z sequencer!

Simply Brilliant

Really nice app, it’s without a doubt one of my favourites. I have loads of plugins that have chords functionality but this lovely little plug-in is just simply excellent, focused only on what it’s designed to do, anything more would be a job for a separate plugin. It’s quick and easy to setup, clear, uncluttered and easily customisable. The only thing I’ve wanted to do that I wasn’t able to is set up the pads with custom midi triggers (midi learn for the pads) but the fact I could trigger the pads via midi was still very handy. Really excellent bit of kit that helps make life easier and stay focused on music creation.

Missing one, obvious feature

Almost at 5 stars… this app is great!

But why would you not let someone hear a note as they tap the keyboard on screen? Pretty big miss.

If I’m building chords, I want to tap between my notes and make sure I’ve got the right tone!
