Chorus: Multi-Speaker Sync

Your music, on every speaker in the room. Chorus turns the phones and tablets already at your party into a single sound system. One person picks the music, everyone else becomes a speaker, and it all plays at the same moment. NO INTERNET, NO ACCOUNTS Devices talk to each other directly. You do not need Wi-Fi with an internet connection, mobile data, an account, or a music subscription on anyone's phone. It works on a rooftop, at the beach, or in the middle of nowhere. HOW IT WORKS 1. Everyone installs Chorus and gets close. 2. The host opens a party and picks a song from their device. 3. Everyone else taps Join, and they are already playing. SYNC YOU CAN HEAR Two speakers that are out of step do not sound louder, they sound like an echo. Chorus constantly measures the difference between each device's clock and corrects the drift while the music plays, with no gaps and no restarts. You can watch each speaker's offset in milliseconds, live. ACOUSTIC CALIBRATION (PRO) Bluetooth speakers add a delay the system cannot measure accurately, and one that shifts on its own while music is playing. Chorus measures it for real: it plays a nearly inaudible tone and listens for it with the microphone to find out how long sound actually takes to come out. Nothing is recorded or stored. STEREO MODE (PRO) Assign one device to the left channel and another to the right. Two phones on opposite sides of the room become a real stereo pair. OLD PHONES WELCOME That iPhone in the drawer has a job again. Chorus runs on iOS 16 and later, so devices that stopped getting updates are still perfectly good speakers. It works on iPad too. GENUINELY FREE The free version is not a demo. It syncs exactly the same way, with one guest speaker and one-hour sessions. Chorus Pro adds unlimited speakers, acoustic calibration, stereo mode, a shared queue and sessions with no time limit. ABOUT THE MUSIC Chorus plays audio files from your own device. It does not download music and does not connect to streaming services.
