Question
I have tried using prayer prompter on and off for a while now. Say wonder if I put something in wrong or wanted to delete or edit a tile in the meditation/prayer tiles and petition/intercession tiles. Other than that. Excellent way to organize your thoughts and prayers! Thank you for the concept! Please get back to me with a thought I could try that I may not be doing. Thank you!

Something Is Very Wrong
When I go into Settings and click on either Prayer Prompter blog or website, I am redirected to swirlgo.com. It is in a different language and I don’t think the site is Christ-like at all.

Works great still on my iPhone 14 Pro Max!
I have been using this app since my iPhone 4 (2013), and it has always worked well on every iPhone and iOS upgrades over the years . It currently works great on my iPhone 14 Pro Max! This is the best prayer app in the AppStore hands down. It is so easy to use and has the most features to personalize your app the best way to match your prayer habits and goals.

GETTING DOWN TO BRASS TACKS
I have tried many different prayer apps and found all of them wanting except this one! It doesn’t have pretty colors, or multiple text styles, or music, or lovely background pictures that some do. It doesn’t come with ‘built in’ devotions, or daily ‘encouraging’ words.
It is easily amendable, easily navigated, and loaded with great reminders from GOD’S WORD, which is where genuine prayer resides! The User can decide on how to pursue devoted prayer and is given options for adding, changing and modifying text, prayers and bible versions.
For me, it’s a FIVE STAR app, with one small exception…at times, it is not clear how to make certain changes happen and take effect, but once learned it is everything a devotee of prayer could want. It truly puts the User “in the driver’s seat” and eliminates the temptation to let the app dictate your prayer time.

GOTTEN TO LOVE IT
I had a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to make it useful. I really love it now that I figured out how to add to it and generally make it do what I want.
It would get 5 stars from me, but…
I have loved this app for the several years I’ve been using it. I would have given it 5-stars if not for one thing that is a major issue to me. I use the app on both my iPhone and my iPad, but the only way to sync them is to do backups to Drop Box. While not crazy about having to use an additional app to backup, I was ok with that—that is, until a few months ago when it stopped backing up easily to my phone which is what I usually use it on. To get it to work, I have to log out of Drop Box on Prayer Prompter, then log back in to Drop Box, then since I go out of Prayer Prompter to do that and have it passworded, I have to renter the password & then back it up. I have to do this every. single. time. I am getting very tired of it. Both my phone and my ipad were purchased this year within a couple of months, but this problem only happens on my phone, the one I use almost all of the time for prayers. I tried writing to the developer about it back in July and they just gave an excuse that they didn't currently have a programmer to fix it & need to replace them and I quote “until then, you will have to continue to use the method that you have discovered. I complement you on being able to figure that out” in a very condescending tone. Well, no. After giving them an additional four plus months to make it right, I DON’T have to continue—I can start shopping around for a better method of tracking prayers. And that is what I intend to do. I might have enjoyed using this for several years, but apparently I’ve outgrown it. It is not worth having to experience tedious frustration twice a day.

Excellent way to organize prayer needs!
I’ve been using this app for at least 7 years, maybe 10. It is a great way to organize all of the categories of prayers that a person might want to cover. I love that it starts with the ACTS prayers, and pairs scripture with them. You can customize additional catories in any way that you like. I have categories for myself, family, bible study members’ requests, home group members requests, our country, etc.
You can set up the timing interval for seeing each request to be anything from every day to a much lower frequency. Prayers which have been answered can be moved to an “Answered Prayers” or “Praise” category.
The flexibility of this app is excellent, while also providing a foundational structure to begin with.

Years of daily use
I continue to be thrilled with this app. This app is a daily delight for me.
Great app!
This is a great app that shuffles the things you want to pray for based on a frequency you set. Bible passages to pray are already in the app as well, and you can easily add passages from the Book of Common Worship or another source, it’s totally customizable. Takes some time to set up but totally worth it once you do.

Quit working
The reminders worked fine at first but then stopped. Contacted customer service and they said something about somebody having a baby?? Confusing. Why would it work for a week or two then stop. It’s very strange.
Great Tool To Help With Focus
This App is easy to use and really helps me to stay focused with an open heart to the Holy Spirit. It has been a struggle for me to have some consistency in my prayer life. This app is very helpful. Thank You.
Needs to Sync
The developers indicated - quite some time ago - that the ability to sync with other devices was coming soon. Still waiting. Not everyone uses Dropbox, nor should we have to. As great as this app could be, the absence of the ability to sync is a “deal beaker” for me and for many, many others. Neither will I input information in two devices, nor will I pay for an external cloud storage service.

The data storage options that Prayer Prompter provides its users makes the programming time to develop iCloud syncing extremely difficult to predict. The cost could run as high as $20,000. We suggest you use our manual Dropbox Backup and Restore feature. It's free and works flawlessly.

Great App!
The app revolutionized my prayer life! I’ve been using it more than 5 years, and my prayer life has grown exponentially. And I can faithfully pray for those who request me to, as well as for others, like those who serve is in all levels of government. I can ask friends and family for their requests and then follow up later to check in on how their request is being answered. It’s a great way to expand your friendship base by remembering to pray for people and taking the opportunity to check in with them. I highly recommend this app!

This app has helped me focus during my prayer time so that I am focused on praying God’s Word more than praying my own words. I love the feature ‘Answered Prayers’ since it allows me to look back on God’s faithfulness.
A good idea but didn't work well for me
I hate to give a negative review to a prayer app but am doing so here. It could be just me and this works well for others - I hope so.
I downloaded this app on my phone and added and "cataloged" some prayers. There's no account to set up, which was surprising - of course that meant that when I went to put it on my iPad me entries didn't follow. I tried using Dropbox backup but couldn't figure it out.
I like the catalog idea but it's a bit confusing - hopefully with use it becomes more natural. Perhaps you can order the drawers in the order in which you leave entries - if not you have to remember what you placed where.
It just didn't work for me but blessings to those who find it helpful.
