Four new characters have joined the countdown: the Elf, the Penguin, the Nutcracker, and the Christmas Tree. Swipe through the backgrounds to meet them. Apple Watch: turning the Digital Crown to change snowflake colours is smoother and responds to slow turns. The watch app also uses less battery while it's on screen.

I'd give 3.5 stars if I could... Pro: It's totally customizable. Everything from the size, color, and speed of the snowfall to using your own photo for the background and music to play. Cons: It doesn't coordinate to Daylight Savings Time so my countdown is off by an hour for most of the year. Also, they put out an update last year, which I did, and now the writing cuts off. For example, it now says: "There are 62 days, 2 hours" and that's it. It no longer says "until Christmas". Weird. Other than those two glitches, I love it but I really wish they'd fix it already!
