He learned that the world had changed tremendously in the last several years.... He can now sit in the faint orange glow of his laptop, order a keto drink from his phone, and have it hand delivered to his door, wrapped in a silk bag chilled to exactly 15°C. Such wow. (Even his memes are half a decade old.) He heard that a new iPhone and iPad had come out, and he realized he hadn't been updating his apps. He stepped out of his epsom salt float pod, dried his graying mane with a supersonic hair dryer, cracked open the can of sparkling cherry blossom flavored mountain spring water, and finally went to work.
