About

Christmas is a hundred small jobs and you are the one holding all of them. Holly holds them instead. And there is a tree. It starts bare and fills itself in as you get ready. THE TREE Finish a job on your plan and an ornament appears. Wrap a gift and it lands under the tree. Post a card and a light comes on. On the day you are finally ready, the star arrives. It is your home screen, it is your widget, and it is the thing you send your sister on the twentieth of December when she asks how you are getting on. THE GIFT LIST Everyone you buy for, with their sizes and the things they have been hinting at. Ideas, prices, links, photos. Seven stages from a vague thought to wrapped and under the tree, including hidden, with a note of where you hid it, because in January you will not remember. One gift for several people at once. What you have spent, per person and overall. A shopping list grouped by shop so one trip clears one list. Every year you have ever done, kept. Your first three people are free, in full, for as long as you like. MY CHRISTMAS PLAN Answer four questions and Holly writes your season for you, dated backwards from the 25th. The budget in September. Ideas in October. Buying in November. The tree going up, the final week, the morning itself. Install on the tenth of December and it quietly fits the plan to the days you actually have left instead of showing you everything you have already missed. THE REST OF CHRISTMAS Cards, who you sent to and who sent back, with the addresses kept so you never chase them twice. The menu, scaled to however many are coming and timed back from when you sit down, and the days you are baking. Who is coming to the party, who replied, and a run sheet for the day that follows you on the lock screen. An elf idea every night that takes five minutes and uses things already in the house. An advent calendar of things to do rather than things to eat. Christmas Eve boxes and letters to Santa. Where the decorations live and which box the lights are in. What you decided a gift was worth, written down before the sales start telling you. A Christmas fund you can start in September, when it is still small money. KEEPING SECRETS Lock the whole app, or just the gift list, so the countdown stays open on a shared phone while the presents stay yours. The app switcher blurs your list. Hiding places sit behind the lock. CHRISTMAS MEMORY This is the part people keep the app for. Every year is kept whole: what everyone got and what you paid, who sent a card, what you cooked, what the elf did, the photos you took, and the finished tree on the cover. Next Christmas opens with all of it in front of you. Last year's gifts sit beside each name so you never buy the same thing twice, the addresses are already typed, the decorations are still in the boxes you wrote down, and the menu that worked is still there. Ten years in, it is a record of your family's Christmases that nothing else is keeping. PRIVATE There is no account and nothing to sign up for. Your Christmas lives on your phone and in your own iCloud, so it comes back when you get a new one. None of it comes to us. Your first three people are free. Holly Full Access opens the rest of the list and everything else for a yearly subscription, with the first 7 days free for new subscribers.
