Down loaded this game but it will not open for me.
Roof glitch and incorrect pricing
The multi game part would not let me switch the roofs, I ended up having to skip. Then it came to the “Unlock full version” screen and said $4.99. I went to purchase it and it changed to $6.99
UPDATE IT’S FIXED!
Thank you, developers, for finally fixing this beautifully done classic game. It works flawlessly now.
My advice to all is NEVER spend your money because the game eventually quits working after a few OS updates. I go back and play these Christmas games every year as I should be able to do since I bought it. Now they don’t work. The screen blacks out and when you restart, it just blacks out again. And as far as I can tell, the developers won’t update these older games.

Full of glitches
I paid for this game. I have been experiencing so many glitches it has become unplayable. I am sorely disappointed.

Pity about the bugs! 🐜
I was really enjoying this Christmas game with lovely graphics until I kept getting intermittent black screens with a few items showing and some of the inventory items started showing as just a grey ball. If you tapped on the grey ball it did tell you what the inventory item was. Also the map has started getting glitchy, again, intermittently. This is spoiling an otherwise good game. A lot of the puzzles are very tricky and I had to skip a few which I rarely do

Needs bug fixes
I’m enjoying the general story, but there are numerous bugs that make gameplay unpleasant. For example, I’m currently playing the third chapter (Greta/Hansel’s story), and the screens keep glitching! Completely black except for animated/touchable areas, so it’s hard to tell what to do next

Christmas Stories 8 - Enchanted Express
I liked the game just fine until I got to the 3rd story. The Guide and the story somehow binded together and then froze. So you can’t read the Guide and you can’t really see the all items in the story clearly. I have deleted and reinstalled it but the same thing happened again. Though, I like and wanted to complete the game, I requested a refund. I wish that I could send you a picture of the problem because I know it’s hard to understand what I described above. Maybe if you can fix this, I will try purchasing it again.
Update: this game is not getting better. I’m on CH 3, where I’m supposed to “Enter Elven Village”per the Guide…but where is Elven Village? The map doesn’t show it and tapping on the screen doesn’t do anything. Help!

Idk about it
Me and my grandma were playing this when we were on the last story the mouse wouldn’t go under the bed when we gave the gnome the moon and the sun BUT it wouldn’t give us the flashlight I love it but please FIX it

Nice Game
I have bought most if the Christmas Story games and although I enjoyed this one, there were a few scenes where the background kept blacking out and it was difficult to play them. I have an iPad Pro so it wasn’t anything to do with my device. The backgrounds tended to reappear every so often but it’s a shame it spoilt gameplay a little.

Do not buy.
This use to be one of my favorites that I play during Christmas, but unfortunately, like Gift of the Maji and Little prince the graphics mess up on the last story. I would like to think that this would be fixed soon, but like the last two I mentioned, The Express maybe another title that won’t be working for the upcoming years. Just avoid the heartbreak by not purchasing

Graphics keep failing
This is the second game I’ve paid for where the graphics have glitched after the free trial. Starting to feel ripped off.

Mini-Games very buggy!
It’s a fun, no-brainer sort of game cute graphics and music, but probably a lot more challenging for kids. I DL’d the trial, but first two mini-games I had to “skip” because they did not respond to the actions as they were supposed to do.
Therefore I will not be paying for the full game.
A real joy-killer, IMO.

Hi, I love the game and paid 5.99 but there are problems now - a dark background as I play which doesn’t allow me to enjoy the game. Very disappointing I do hope you can help me fix it! I’ll give 2 stars just for this reason.
Beautiful graphics
I loved this game, beautiful scenes and lots of hidden object puzzles, one of the best games I’ve played.
Bugs galore
I love these games but made it the final story/quest and it just keeps blacking out. You can pick items up they don’t appear, etc etc. I’ve restarted it so many times but it isn’t playable. Completely stinks because it was quite fun and yet very annoying because I bought game.
