It crashes on opening
Just purchased this opened and it shuts. I tried repeatedly. Fix or refund

I have been using this app for many years, and I am satisfied with its performance. What ‘s missing is the synchronization between devices and iCloud backup. If those are added, I would consider the app to be near perfect.
Used for decade but…
I have used Chronicle for over a decade and love it for a personal journal. There are two things that I wish the app would add to its features. The ability to bold and italicize text and sync to other devices.

I totally enjoy Chronicle. I write my journal every day and I add pictures and fav information about my day. I would love it if there was any way to highlight important information. But over all it's a good program.

Just adore this diary. Really enjoy and look forward to writing up my day/s activities and adding photo's is so easy I find I'm taking lots of everyday shots that I might just pass on but now their recorded for all times. Thanks for developing such a beautiful app.

Great App
I’ve been happily using the app for a couple of years, my only gripe is when editing (Cut & Paste) be careful after making your selection. On occasion I have gone to edit text without paying proper attention and ended up deleting said block of text.
That deletion seems to be irreversible, a truly irritating state of affairs when it happens. - Forewarned is Forearmed

Intuitive
The app is intuitive which is what one needs. So far it is proving easy to use in every sense. At the moment it is capturing holiday details including names of people met.
Doesn’t work anymore. But I really liked it when it did.
This app was so great. Now it only tries to open and then closes.
Great tool for self reflection privately
I have attempted to journal for years unsuccessfully because my concern for privacy. I have always felt that a journal was for honest reflection. With my concern of someone reading my random thoughts they would assign meaning that was unintended for the interpretation of others, so having access to a way to privately, sucurely express my thoughts and observation is, for priceless. This tool has given me the ability to be candid I my writin and those. I don’t have to edit my thoughts which defeats the purpose for me.

I devoted my personal thoughts and quick notes to the "Chapters," app for years, even though it said it wasn't MAC friendly, and then one day (after updating to MACOS Sonoma), the entire Chapters content disappeared. My heart was BROKEN! And I lost all my personal thoughts and collections of ideas. I knew I should get out of there, but I didn't see any other app that could do what Chapters does-- sooo VERSATILE! Then I saw this App's icon looks the same as Chapters (only red), and wondered if it was a newer version of Chapters (black). I think it is, although it doesn't say so. I've been using it, and it functions exactly the same. This little app is so appealing because it's a quick stop for a quick note that applies to a multitude of issues in life. And yet, with a quick entry in "search," there it is. So handy! After my Chapters app died, I was lost because there's really no other app that fits this need-- until I saw this! I just pray the developer would PLEASE enable it to align with MAC OS as it grows. This is a Grrreat App!
