Favorite App!
This app is SO helpful… I have many accounts to keep up with (both business and personal) and, without Chronicle, it would be much more difficult. I appreciate being able to link directly to bill payment sites, add calendar reminders, and post various notes to myself regarding each account etc. It’s a big help at tax time, also!

Chronicle has been the main tool to manage my day to day finances for years now and it is both simple and powerful enough to do so.
The only feature that I think is missing is a way of producing reports: simple lists of payees, amounts, dates, frequency payments, history etc. That would make it absolutely perfect for me.

Won't delete old bills
I've tried dozens of times to delete bills I don't have anymore. They always pop right back in
Perfect bill tracking app
Tested many different apps to track bills payments. All of the others did more than I wanted or were overly complicated. This app is perfect balance of simplicity and features I’m looking for. Really enjoy the shortcut actions integrations and the iPhone widgets. Would like to see some Apple Watch functionality though.

The only bill organizer I’ve stuck with
They made it simple enough that you’ll actually use it. No linking banking accounts and all that nonsense. You click that you paid a bill and it updates the date. You can add or delete bills easily. This app has benefited me in my life.
Charged but no upgrade
I've been using for a few years now with no issues. But I recently got charged for my annual subscription but when I go to use the app it says I need to upgrade! Anytime I tried to reach out via their page for support it kept saying check your email then would freeze

I absolutely love this app, but us old farts need a new feature. For income, need to consider Social Security paydays. For instance, “Repeats every third Wednesday”. Know what I mean, Vern?

Great Financial App.
Have used Chronicle for years to manage our bills, etc. It is easy to use and has all of the information you need to stay abreast of your financial affairs. Integrates well with other Apple devices. Excellent support from developer. Recommend daily use to keep current! The NOTES feature is very helpful to record important information! It is also easy to correct and update information.
July4, 2024: Am still using Chronicle and rely on it. Keeps me up-to-date with our bills. Highly recommend this app for its simplicity and comprehensiveness!!

Disappointed
I started using Chronicle in January 2023. I loved the app and decided after a year of trialing it that I would subscribe to the Chronicle pro version. So in January 2024 I started my subscription and It worked great and tracked the balance of all my bills. Renewed my subscription again on January 2025, I could still use Chronicle, but the benefits of Chronicle pro didn’t work anymore. I was hoping it was a fluke so I resubscribed in January of this year 2026 and still can’t access the pro version benefits. I tried signing in manually to Chronicle and it says it doesn’t recognize my email. Support seems to be minimal and no way for me to contact anyone to get this fixed so even though it was a great app i I’m not going to continue paying for something that I’m not receiving. Good luck all and stick to the free version.

Keeps my Bills Organized
I really love this app and have been using it for quite some time. However, I do have one issue: occasionally, when I enter a payment amount by tapping on the numeric keypad, there is a lag. Sometimes, I have to tap a number multiple times for it to appear in the payment amount section. The difference between when the app is running smoothly and when it is lagging is very noticeable. Occasionally, restarting my phone or force closing the app helps, but today those solutions did not work. The lagging issue persisted despite trying both fixes.

No Better Way To See Your Financial Picture
Have been using this app for years to both manage my costs, but also forecast future bills. For credit cards you can add your interest rate for better forecasting. Either on laptop or phone, diligently input your bills and payments and have your homes financial picture at your fingertips.
Nearly Perfect
It's simple and effcient. It's so easy I wish there wasn't a cost associated, although it's super affordable. The only issue I consistantly have is the sync between devices. One is always outdated. I also can't recover a missing pin for a password one device and there is no way to reset it so I'm permanently locked out.

Not for MAC
The app won’t even open on my MAC anymore. It works fine on my iPhone but I purchased it for computer use.
Just Perfect for Me!
Many, many years ago I remember writing directly to the app developer…and I received a quick response from him. This was when Chronicle was just starting out, long before the App Store. I think I downloaded it from MacUpdate. I remember telling the developer how this was the perfect bill app and I was thrilled to pay for such an easy-to-use, yet powerful app. It was exactly what I needed and it still is! …of course, it’s even better today, something I couldn’t of dreamed of back then.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use bill-pay app, look no further! In my eyes, it’s about as good as an app could be. It does everything it claims and has an incredibly smooth interface. This app is definitely 5 stars, plus!

I love this app!
Few things though…
1. I do wish we could have more icons and/or use our emojis instead (to customize it even more).
2. A colour code or a coloured tag could be very helpful to keep track of the different categories of bills (tags or colours for home, credit, transportation, subscriptions etc not just separated sections).
3. A “paid” button could be very convenient too, especially for fixed and recurring payments. It could give us the options : archive, skip, log payment (for partial payments or payment not fixed) and paid! If it’s too many, we could archive only when we tap on the payment instead of having this option as a “quick action” to give priority to the “paid” button
Each option could be optional to the customers in the settings.

Great app, outdated UI
Really good app but the UI seems a bit outdated. Especially the icons
