Chronolyze turns your iPhone into a precision timegrapher for mechanical watches. Rest your watch against the microphone and watch the classic paper-tape trace draw itself — no bench equipment, no clip-on sensors. Every mechanical watch tells you how healthy it is through its ticking. Chronolyze listens to the escapement's impulses and measures the timing between them with sub-millisecond precision. MAGNETIZATION CHECK A suddenly fast watch is usually a magnetized hairspring. Chronolyze uses your iPhone's magnetometer to detect it in seconds, before you pay for a service you don't need. WATCH COLLECTION Keep a watch box in your pocket: per-watch lift angle and beat rate, full measurement history, saved positional runs, and re-viewable traces for every session.
