Finally found a local Lutheran congregation!!
Ever since I moved to the UK 2 years ago I have been looking for a Lutheran church congregation that was close to where I live.
This app worked quickly to find a Lutheran congregation in my local area!
I was so impressed by the layout of the app (some apps can be so complicated, but the Church Abroad app is easy with only four options, ‘congregation’, ‘video’, ‘events’ and ‘donation’).
I should also mention that the app is only in Swedish so it might be complications to navigate if you are only an English speaker. 😊

Love the free Zumba classes - more than just a church app
Would recommend this app to anyone who speaks swedish. Unlike some church congregations which primarily revolve around hymns, mass livestreams, daily prayer, jesus teachings and the 10 commandments the church abroad app is much more interactive. It offers podcasts where current affairs in the community are discussed, a platform for the arts (singing or musical performances) and more. My favourite part of the app is the free Zumba classes that are on offer. The trainer is engaging and fun! REALLY RECOMMEND.

Great way to connect with Swedes abroad
I recently moved to London from Stockholm and was really anxious about moving abroad because lockdowns have made it very difficult to meet new people. However, the Church Abroad app has made the church community easily contactable and fun to engage with. I found it really easy to find my local congregation & the app offered information about the congregation, so I got an insight into the people before even getting in contact. I frequently watch live mass which involves Bible readings, hymns and socialising with the local community. I also LOVE the free Zumba classes - very fun! I can’t wait to meet everyone in person at the next church event - Very excited. Wonderful app 10/10
