Was good until it wasn’t.

Worked well for a couple years. Then just stopped. Said it was asleep to shake to wake up. I did nothing happens. Changed battery, nothing happens. Just doesn’t work. Sucks cause I liked it. I’ll look for a different one now though guess.

This is messed up!

Opened my humidor and realized things were getting dry. Grabbed my phone to check the humidity and the app wouldn’t let me open it.

Says bad username or password. Tried to reset it but it wouldn’t ever send me a link to do so.

So now, I have a humidor and no way to monitor the humidity because I have to log into some account before it will access my Butler. And, no one responds to my request and no other way to reach out for help.

Drains my iPhone’s battery

I love the functionality of the app and the sensors but I discovered (via iPhone’s battery stats) that it was one of the top five apps consuming my battery life and the number one app doing so in the background. I thought I could resolve the issue by turning off Background App Refresh (which does impact functionality). It did help but, surprisingly, it still draws a more than insignificant amount of battery IN THE BACKGROUND despite having Background App Refresh turned off. I cannot recommend it until they resolve the battery drain issue.

Doesn’t update anymore

Tells me the sensor is reading 71% even though I know the humidity is much lower. The number won’t change.

Used to be great

Boveda app was amazing. New app is garbage!!! Last update was 15 days ago? But still says I have battery left? What a joke.
