Doesn’t recognize anything

At the moment, this app isn’t useful. I’m in a tropical forest so full of cicadas that I nearly need to wear ear plugs, and yet it says no cicadas detected…

It does it’s job.

As far as I can tell this app does it’s job. Within a very narrow spectrum of the insect world it is doing an amazing thin; taking a bugs call, comparing it to a library of such similar calls that I can’t hear the difference and giving reasonable answers in a very short time period.

I hope the developer will be able expand the library of insect sounds and include insects from North America and possibly from the whole world. I realize it is a lot to ask but it’s already in amazing program.

My one suggestion is that an explanation that this program is only insects in the UK should be right next to “download this app” so people don’t get so frustrated.
