The developers for this program are truly OG app builders. So happy to see that one friendly, serious about apps guy has been so long lasting!! His apps were my first test gig, and I’ve still got some, wow tons ago,

Simplicity in function, understated but stylish design, probably YEARS before their time, so many currently and recently massive apps have had his years-ago core models as their main reason for appeal/popularity (even just the concept of making them was pretty fresh!)

No Daily Record
I tried this for a couple of days and was happy to be able to finally REALLY see how many cigarettes I was smoking a day. Until I went to try to see how many cigarettes I smoked YESTERDAY and suddenly discovered there was no daily count record. For whatever reason the app counts your cigarettes by the month not the day. So if you smoked 21 cigs today and want to try to do 20 tomorrow - good luck with that.

Almost but needs to include...
I wanted a non preachy app that lets me track how many cigarettes I smoked.
This is ALMOST what I was looking for... BUT I will not purchase the full app until you are able to:
Not only add but remove a cigarette on any date (could have been added in error)
This app is the only one I've found with a The Catch Up feature that allows you to go back and add a cigarette on a previous date, which is close but as with the main screen you can't add multiple or amend an entry.
Apart from the cool smoking cigarette effect when you add one the UI is very basic and tacky looking. But hey, ultimately it's just a database and if the database allows me to record and display my intake effectively then I would buy the full version.
But right now it doesn't so I'll wait for an update. (unless I'm missing something)

Simple and effective, serves the purpose well
Really helps!
After my doctor advised me to taper off my smoking habit before I go cold turkey. This app has really helped me do that. Other apps like this exclusively focus on cold turkey and get on to you when you do smoke. It's simple, and not condescending. Which is awesome! I recommend it if your trying to slow down before you quit.

I'm using this app to help a friend cut down. The monetary impact is not the most significant deleterious impact of smoking to make that the focus. It's the impact in health. Granted it's difficult to set general standards but err on the side of overstating them! Provide some sense of equivalency a la you've just reduced your life by or today you inhaled a minute of exhaust etc. CO intake should be measured alongside tar and nicotine.
Best UI and easiest input but more features would put this app at the top of the genre.

Works but needs more features
The app does what it says it does. It could definitely use more features, though. It would be nice to be able to delete and/or edit the time of a smoke in case you make a mistake. It would also be nice to be able to set daily & weekly goals. Also, I don't think it calculates the daily cost correctly. No matter how much I smoke or what price I enter per cigarette, it says $10. It works for counting daily cigs, if that's what you're looking for.
