What's New in CinéFile
1.43.0
October 8, 2026
The first hand: ten titles everyone knows, dealt the moment you open the app. Answer them and your Record is open. • The Record in six rooms, each a grid of posters you can sort by year, by genre or by where it streams. • Now Watching keeps your place in everything you're in the middle of and marks each finish with three titles chosen for that moment. • The Forecast: what's ahead for the titles you follow, tonight through the year, with a trailer while it's new. • Watch with Friends: invite anyone, mark your progress at your own pace, talk about it in one thread. • Your DNA: the names and themes behind your Record cut into shelves, with a fresh row of recommendations every day. Every pick says why. • One page for every title: your file, the season, the trailer, where it streams. • Home Screen widgets: Up Next, My TV and the week's Forecast. Films arrive in January 2027, filed into the same Record.
