Crashes every time I load a Live Photo

I bought it specifically to edit Live Photo’s and if crashes when you try to add any Live Photo. Total waste.

Doesn’t work as advertised

It says that it works with Live photos but every time I try to utilize one it says it’s invalid and to try a video or Live Photo. Waste of my time

Dreadful

It’s freezing portion is worst I’ve ever seen. Don’t even bother. It’ll just look cheap.

Won’t save

I get everything just the way I want it, hit save. It says it’s saving. But after it says it’s done the video is no where to be found. It’s not in the camera roll, not in files, not on my home screen. It’s nowhere. What’s the point of the app if it doesn’t actually save your finished product?

Where is the cinemagraph in your preview?

Where? Your marketing is off. I bought to test it. Almost didn’t. Add a FEW cinemagraphs to your store page, so when people tap on it, they can see.

Great cinemagraph app for the price

Choices are pretty limited for making cinemagraphs on the go, this is the best I’ve found (although not perfect). Ideally I would like something that helps to make the loops more seamless, and video stabilization would be ace.

Don’t waste your money!

This app is not worth the money I spent on it. It kicks me off after I try to edit my item and it doesn’t work as stated. Total waste of money!

Waste of money

Total crap. No tutorial anywhere. Doesn’t function properly. You have to have a video where on one thing is moving. Lame. Waste of $2.

Almost there! Recommended

This is a good (almost great) Cinemagraph app for a great price! It’s not quite 5-star yet for me, but it’s close.

To rate as 5-star, would need to see the following updates:

- would like the saved video to be the same original size as my source video of 4K. Or, at minimum 1080p. Currently your video is downsampled to 720p.

- maybe at least 3-5 level undo

- would like to adjust the amount of feather on the brush

Is there anyway to allow zoom mode to paint the area that is desired to move?

Hello! The latest update (v2.1) allows pinch-to-zoom on the main video up to 50x, so you can paint the small details much easier now! Thanks. :)

Does not adds a watermark-correction

My original review stated it adds a watermark to the downloaded video that was edited in the app. I was incorrect. I was testing several apps similar to CineMask and got them mixed up. CineMask is a good app.

Great cinemagraph app

Not sure where the other reviewers are going wrong, haven’t had any trouble here .. 🤷‍♀️

A few notes from my experience so far: the most important thing is getting a stable shot. I’ve been using a tripod and getting great results, you’ll probably need to prop your device up to make sure it’s perfectly still when shooting video..
Also good cinemagraphs take planning and PRACTICE! You’ll want to think out your shots and get the right position and lighting, the effect is ruined if you have lighting changes or record something that doesn’t work in a loop!

Some things I’d like to see in an update:
- Ping-pong looping
- Let me choose a number of loop cycles on exported video

Confused...

I was excited, but when I attempted my first Live Photo editing; you could see the areas that I highlighted during the replay of the video. Very weird and dissappointing.

It sounds like what you're explaining is correct -- the area you highlight are the areas you wish to animate/see on the Cinemagraph, the rest of the image will remain static. Does not work!

I wasn’t able to make a single cinemagraph with this app. Either the edit wasn’t working or the preview portion where you’d get to save your work. Waste of money.

Paid app with limited functions

Only 10 second video
Not able to loop animation
Other free apps have way more functions

Sorry you aren't happy with your purchase! Cinemask supports up to 30 second videos, and GIFs naturally loop, but video does not. We will add the ability to specify number of loops on video export in a future update. I want a refund

This app crashed several times on me and when I saved the gif it saved a photo I feel ripped off

Sorry to hear! GIFs will appear as photos in your photo library until you tap on them and view the full size version. They will function as an animated GIF everywhere else you use them too.
