Crashes every time I load a Live Photo
Doesn’t work as advertised
Dreadful

Where is the cinemagraph in your preview?
Good luck.

Great cinemagraph app for the price
Don’t waste your money!
Junk
Waste of money
Almost there! Recommended
To rate as 5-star, would need to see the following updates:
- would like the saved video to be the same original size as my source video of 4K. Or, at minimum 1080p. Currently your video is downsampled to 720p.
- maybe at least 3-5 level undo
- would like to adjust the amount of feather on the brush
Works well, needs a few options
Response from developer
Hello! The latest update (v2.1) allows pinch-to-zoom on the main video up to 50x, so you can paint the small details much easier now! Thanks. :)
Does not adds a watermark-correction
Response from developer
Thank you very much for the correction!
Great cinemagraph app
A few notes from my experience so far: the most important thing is getting a stable shot. I’ve been using a tripod and getting great results, you’ll probably need to prop your device up to make sure it’s perfectly still when shooting video..
Also good cinemagraphs take planning and PRACTICE! You’ll want to think out your shots and get the right position and lighting, the effect is ruined if you have lighting changes or record something that doesn’t work in a loop!
Some things I’d like to see in an update:
- Ping-pong looping
- Let me choose a number of loop cycles on exported video
Confused...
Response from developer
Sorry to hear you're confused by Cinemask! It sounds like what you're explaining is correct -- the area you highlight are the areas you wish to animate/see on the Cinemagraph, the rest of the image will remain static. We will include a guide video in the next update to help make things clearer. In the meantime please contact us via https://firecannon.com for support, we'd be more than happy to help!
Does not work!
Response from developer
Hi there, sorry to hear about the trouble. We will include a video guide in the next update to help make it clear how to use Cinemask properly. In the meantime please contact us via https://firecannon.com for support, we would be more than happy to help!
Paid app with limited functions
Not able to loop animation
Other free apps have way more functions
Response from developer
Sorry you aren't happy with your purchase! Cinemask supports up to 30 second videos, and GIFs naturally loop, but video does not. We will add the ability to specify number of loops on video export in a future update. If you have any other feedback or suggestions let us know via https://firecannon.com support form and we'll do our best to include it in a future update.
I want a refund
Response from developer
Sorry to hear! GIFs will appear as photos in your photo library until you tap on them and view the full size version. They will function as an animated GIF everywhere else you use them too. The new version (1.1.1) is out and should resolve any crashing you previously experienced. Feel free to reach out for support via https://firecannon.com
