Better not skip the introductory event, otherwise it’s pointless
I was able to get pre-approved to join through a referral and it got me access to part of the app.
But in order to become a full member, I would have to attend an introductory event and then show a QR code to a member to fully join.
When I got the details for the introductory event, I realized the date and time fell while I was working. So, I couldn’t attend - but hoped that since they have new members all the time, that I could go to a different one.
That was months ago and since then, I have not been offered another chance to attend an event of any kind. I’ve asked if there would be any chances to attend a new introductory event and have never gotten a response. So, I’ve given up and deleted the app. It looks cool, but I’d have never downloaded it if I knew it’d be a waste of energy when missing just one event.

Stay away!
I downloaded the app and applied over a month ago. It said I was in the 2,614 place in line for application review. Okay, but it offers an expedited review…for $100. So, no, I wait. A month later, I’m in 2,889 place…. I advise to stay away as such tactics are super sketch
