Very Buggy
I was one of the early supporters of this ring. It has been buggy and crashes all the time. I would say 75% of the days it does not sync. I have had to reset the ring every week to get it to work for a couple of days. I regret my purchase and would highly recommend you not to buy the Circular 2 ring. You will be disappointed.

Kickstarter Investor Review
This ring was basic at first. The software seems like it would be helpful but it didn’t come through on what it boasted it would do. The actual ring itself was poorly constructed. The coating chipped off EXTREMELY quickly and the inner wiring ended up poking through. I didn’t even bother with trying for a replacement. Just tossed it and counted it as a bad investment.

Do not buy circular ring
The app and ring together are useless. I can’t update software, it misses all the data at night… terrible

I paid full price for the gen 2 and it sucks!!!!! The app is also major terrible. Syncing is god awful too.
Ring is still effectively useless
The app has improved but it is just window dressing. It appears to sync more quickly but still does not track sleep or provide energy or sleep analysis.
Circular still refuses to correct this. If you receive a response it is only to put you off with duplicated requests.

I love the ring, hope the background sync is implemented soon
I love the ring, hope the background sync is implemented soon. As a health tracking device, I believe the ring should be able to sync the data with the phone without user interaction
Disappointed
Had this for ages, keep being told it’ll improve. When it works it’s great but it’s about 50/50 working/ crashing. I do all I’m advised to do, reboot etc etc. status of app reported as fine but it’s not server crashes have to be to blame mostly. For now DON’T BUY. IT DOESN’T WORK.
Hot Garbage
Run away from this device and this app. Every release has more bugs than the last. No background sync, which means that you have to go into the app and wait MINUTES for the data to sync between the ring, your phone the cloud & then back to your phone again before you can see any real time data. Every. Single. Time.

Horrible customer service and product - stay away
I received my circular ring 2 in September, 6 months after I ordered it, and it started having issues with syncing towards the end of February as well as holding a charge (not quite 6 months of using the ring). Not to mention that when I received my ring it was scratched. I notified their support of the scratch immediately after receiving it, but never heard back. I let that go, but once it stopped syncing and keeping its charge, I notified support, got a response, but they just keep asking me to take more pictures and video of the ring instead of just replacing it and having me send the defective one back. It’s been over 2 months of back and forth with no resolution in sight and because I purchased via kickstarter, they refuse to refund me. Now I have a useless ring that won’t hold a charge.

Very inconsistent
Ring/ app very inconsistent and not really reliable . I’d suggest to buy one of their competitor more established as using the ring / app as they are could be quite stressful (6-8 months of use so far )
Just awful
This app is so bad that I have asked for my money back from Circular I can’t make it work even with help from the AI lady trying to help me. It won’t connect to my phone or my iPad. Terrible!
Doesn’t work - No support
Updated review: I stopped wearing the ring a while ago because the app was too inconsistent. I don’t know exactly how long it’s been, but months later after trying again, there’s still issues. The biggest problem for me is the “ring data gets corrupted” very often and the only fix is to factory reset the device. Every time this happens you lose a day or so of data. This same issue has been happening since the beginning and there hasn’t been a fix. If your goal with this device was to track sleep and compare different nights, you simply can’t. I changed from 1 to 2 stars because it works some of the time, but I’m throwing mine back in a drawer.

They’ve been experiencing “down time” for a week straight. They give troubleshooting steps through status page updates that do nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

Won't Open Up
It's great when it works! But more and more frequently, the app wont open on my phone. It's very frustrating especially because it happens every few days. I then have to delete the app, reinstall, and sink the ring up again. If i'm going to spend this much money on a ring, I would at least like the app to work.

Don’t Waste Your Money
They expanded too quickly and couldn’t handle it. My first email went unanswered for four months. Finally received a pointless response. They asked for feedback and I wasted my time giving a thoughtful response with 19 different suggestions or comments. They never responded. Sent another email 6 months later and STILL no response. Customer service like this deserves to fail. Don’t waste your money.

Update from a BIG STEP BACKWARDS
Last version does not solve the problem beginning 2 versions ago when synch fails to provide results from analysis…..BUT CIRCULAR DID KEEP AN ENAIL DIALOGUE AND WHILE UNCLEAR WHERE THIS WAS HEADING, they INDEED solved the problem, which was ON their end. I am appreciative of their efforts and hopefully they will continue to improve the product

Not Reliable
I am still locked out of some features despite having this ring for 8 months. Took 6 months to get any type of sleep data and now I get a Time Zone issue everyday, and the step counter is so over estimated…. Support took 4 months to get back with me….. worst product ever!!!
This Ring sucks
Was a second wave kickstarter pledger for this ring and when it was delivered, all that was promised was either refuted or cut down. Ring worked good in the beginning but got worst as time goes by. Now, if you don’t sync the damn thing everyday, it will fail to link with your phone. Build quality sucks as well because the plastic started to peel about 1 month in. Get another brand, this ring is a pos not worth your money.

Non-existent customer support, weeks of not being able to sync ring with app, updates that fix nothing — seemed like a great idea but the execution makes it feel like an old school vapor-ware scam
