OTP never arrives
Me and my wife never received the otp code through text/whatsapp to be able to sign up and use the app, had to use the physical bike station…

Cant add payment info. Account reset multiple times. Cant sign in at all anymore. Never got to use because its so messed up. Better to walk…

This app is terrible. Doesn’t work. The bikes don‘t work either. Pushed the bike to the next docking station. Bad app, bad bikes… probably a good fit for Citibank.
Terrible app terrible service
Downloaded the app, tried to register, never received the code via text now the app is blocked can’t use the service and the terrible customer service is unavailable. Useless service getting an uber!
Absolute garbage
App is absolute garbage and doesn’t register bikes being returned or show any indication that the bike was locked in when it was. The app looks like a 12 year old made it in 2003. Don’t waste your time or money on businesses that have no integrity or pride in what they do.

The app is not at all friendly, crashes multiple times , each person has to download (forced download) to get the bike. Sometimes takes 15-20 mins to pick one bike and release..

Citi bike scam
The bikes do not unlock after followed instructions. They charge your card and never unlock! I tried 4 different bikes and get charged for them and they never unlocked. I called the help number and they scam you into running your card again.

I cannot recommend this app at all. Unfortunately, it also seems like there isn’t really an alternative for this type of bikes in Miami Beach—they’re just everywhere, and so far we haven’t seen any other option.
That said, the App Publisher seriously need to put a proper development team on this and fix the app. Creating an account with a foreign phone number (in my case, a German one) is extremely frustrating and barely works. You can select all the international country codes, but the verification code simply never arrives. Strangely, it does arrive if you add an extra zero after the country code—so instead of +49 followed by a 1, you put a 0 there. That makes no sense, but it’s the only way it worked.
Even after that, the app constantly shows “Payment failed.” Over and over again. If you delete your account and try to add a payment method again, things get even worse. Sometimes the credit card authorization of $0.01 goes through, but the payment method still doesn’t get updated in the app at all—so you’re completely stuck.
For us, it somehow worked the very first time. We managed to rent our first bike, but after that, nothing worked anymore. The next attempt resulted in endless “Payment failed” messages again.
We also spoke with customer support on the phone, and they were especially friendly and tried to help us as much as possible.
Overall, the app is unreliable, buggy, and extremely frustrating to use. It really needs serious technical improvements.

Easy enough to use. Not the best transportation app, but certainly not the worst. “Gets the job done” is accurate

I tried to rent a bike in south beach, it took my money but would not release the bike, I called customer service, they said there isn’t anything they can do. If there was a zero star I would have given that…the customer service lady was nice though.
