This is clearly ported by someone who loves the original - and as such is a perfect copy! Top marks, this is amazing!
One tiny change would be to merge the two jump buttons, so a quick tap does the short jump, while a push and hold (half a second?) does the big jump. Otherwise perfect.

My favorite arcade game deserves a great mobile port
When I saw City Connection was getting a free to play mobile port I was nervous, but this is pretty decent. It seems like you can play the standard game for free, or use gems to unlock upgraded versions of the car, like getting a shield that acts like an extra life. The touch controls are pretty responsive, and overall it is a decent app.
I’m disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be support for controllers. iOS supports a bunch of controllers now, and this game would really benefit from them. Would be a 4-5 star game for me with the addition of controller support.
I really hope City Connection (the Japanese indie developer that now owns the City Connection license) does a new City Connection game some day along the lines of their excellent Ninja Jajamaru Collection. I’d love to see Clarice take on new cities, with more cars and items.
