Hard to expand lands
I love the idea of this game and I enjoy playing it but you need to make expanding the lands easier it’s way too much money to expand and you can’t enjoy building your cities when they are so little and takes forever just to get enough for one expansion in one city come on guys you would have a great game if only you made it easier

Same but collecting cards from other xpacs
P2P for sure but u can progress if u stick with buildings u earn and stay on top of free chest, videos etc. I like all their games and I’ve invested more time in Town City. But the collector’s cards from all City Island games is nice! If you want the best buildings then u have to pay ( outside of luck from free spins and chests. Forced ads aren’t excessive and usually run a little over 5 secs; it’s F2P so unless they charge you dishonestly, or if you notice your free chests or spins glitching, or not rewarding you with buildings to help progress then don’t pay. That’s my motto and I won’t give a negative review, or a review with less than five, unless ANY game has shady tactics. I’ll update if I notice anything but with all Sparkling Society games, u can go back and forth and have fun. I do contribute to free games at least once(even if I don’t continue playing)if the game is honest and respectful—regarding my customer value.

Duplicates
I have far too many duplicates and I am unable to finish 1st Island. I rather finish one island at a time then go on. This game needs to be looked over and fixed. Island 2 comes too early.

Missing island
I downloaded this game as I thought it was a jolly good buy, all five islands. Alas it was not to be as only four islands are available on the game. This is despite the fact that island number five appears on the screen, and buildings are available for it but you cannot place any on the island. I did write to the authors of the game but got no response. This is either a glitch or it was done deliberately to tempt more people to get the game. If island number five was available, I would have no hesitation in giving it five stars.

When I started playing this game it gave me task on the top left hand Side of the screen for rewards. The way to get extra builders. I few levels back that TASK BAR disappeared. Was that suppose to happen? I need more builders. LOL.
Please advise was it suppose to disappear or is it a glitch ?

Mediocrity Rules in this game
Buy card packs. Everything in this game is mediocre at best. The houses are nothing to look at, the graphics are awful. Don’t waste ur time or money.

I made in-app purchases in a Sparkling Society game and after they made unauthorized draws from my account (without even giving the in-game purchase). When I reported it, they shrugged it off then stopped responding to me! Thieves! Do not give you money to these clowns.
Good game
I really enjoy all the city island games, my only issue is the cost to buy lands. I find instead of building like I would like, I will just go and collect my money for a few days in order to buy another chunk of land, which is very frustrating. I also find it discouraging to buy packs just to get the same buildings over and over. This game could be one of the best yet, but the chances of being able to play for a awhile is little to none!!

The game is a lot of fun! I do wish they would group the cards better. Can be a bit confusing as to what building is a community building and what is considered a building for jobs. Overall, thoroughly enjoying this game!

Purchasing buildings
I was very disappointed after spending $2,850,000 in packets to improve my city and I only got about 5 new buildings. I bought of each kind of packet. Don’t waste your money. I now have so many trees and parks that I wouldn’t be able to use them in a lifetime.
