Mr.
Best magazine in America.
City Journal
Articles that begin with facts, then develop a point of view based upon those facts but leave much intellectual space for the reader to form an independent opinion.
I’ve been waiting decades for this.
I have been studying the Frankfurt School’s impact on our academic institutions and governments since the 1970’s . I had given up on attempting to alert the elected officials of
the “ impending fruits” of the Frankfurt Schoolers and their ilk.
Although I believe it may be “to little, too late” , Chris Rufo has shown the energy and knowledge necessary to do incredible damage to their efforts.

Great publication
It’s always a pleasure to read City Journal, which has a superb collection of scholars and writers as contributors.
Sayin voice in the wilderness.
There are only a handful of smart, well researched and brave publications out there and this is one. And if you don’t like the article you’re reading, there’s always the cartoons.
America’s Best
For the news of the day and it’s interpretation few magazines cmpare
Excellent
Love the honest review of medical education today.
Consistent Insight
City Journal consistently illuminates reality in a way no other publication today has the courage for do.
Fact-based thoughtful writing
I discovered City Journal many years ago & was delighted to find in-depth analyses of the topics addressed. Objective thinking, in disregard of political motives or concerns. City Journal describes situations as they are, not how agenda-driven pols & others wish them to be. If you respect writers such as Thomas Sowell, I’m certain you’ll view City Journal in the same way.

Great magazine. Poor App
The App won’t recognize my subscription. I log in, it says my log-in is successful and then I can’t access any articles (says I still need to pay for them).
I’ve rebooted the app, the iPad, I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app. It won’t work.

One of the Best Journalistic Magazines out there!
Don’t be fooled that it’s all about New York! In actuality it’s about the way many Cities today are ignoring their problems and with insightful writing by the staff at City Journal they point out the problems and way things could change if we had good policies and caring elected officials that want more than just being elected.

Must read
Very clear thinking about the world
City Journal
City Journal offers relevant news articles based on thorough documented data compiled into well written stories. I value this smart journal that relies on researched analysis instead of loose opinions.
Awkward
Very cumbersome website
Perfect on an iPad Pro
You know whether you agree with its politics, I'm here to tell you that, finally, this beautiful magazine looks and works as it should on an iPad: the Pro.
The iPad Pro is supposed to be good for artists and multi-app productivity types, and I'm sure it is, but I wanted one to read newspapers and magazines at a more natural size. City Journal is the best example of this strategy. No more pinching and zooming; just reading.
It does something called "streamIng", too. Who cares.

Great mag, lousy app.
I love the City Journal magazine, which I usually read online. But this Newstand "app" just immediately crashes when I try to open it on my iPad mini with system 6.0.2.
