Ads ruin game play

Game is fine but aggressive advertising interrupts about every 30 seconds. So frustrated to try and get into the game, only to have another ad pop up, and then play for more time than you actually get to play.
There was an option at the beginning of the game to PURCHASE ad blocking, and I guess by clicking no, they want to punish you.

Here’s hoping - UPDATE

I purchased this game a couple of months back but due to ill health have only just started playing it. So far I have had to restart the game twice, due to corrupt files. I see that there has been an update to sort out problems am hoping this will sort out for me. I certainly found when playing the day after the update that I had a box appear to update to deluxe. It didn’t like me trying to just play the game so had to pay the extra £1.79 to start the game. As I didn’t pay much for the game to start with paid for the deluxe game. Hoping this is not the sign of the times that we get bugs and then being forced to pay for the deluxe version. It does seem like DG are not playing fair with their recent turn out of games. Just hoping that as I have now got back to the part of the game prior to having a break then coming back to it, that I don’t see the dreaded words - corrupt files - and having to start all over again.

Well I managed to play the game, but would never have chosen to purchase the Deluxe version. The extra mini games wouldn’t play properly so had to skip. Gave up on the Bonus section to go into the secret childrens bedroom. Couldn’t see what else to do there so used the hint button, that would take me to the lower level, then when I used the hint button again as I could find nothing to do there apart from leave to go outside and the hint button took me back to the secret room. So all in all a complete waste of time and I decided to continue on only to get the onscreen message if I left I couldn’t go back to the secret room. WHY - if I have purchased a game then I expect to play all of it and if need be go back to a section. This is definitely not a brilliant game regardless of the other two reviews. Don’t waste your money on purchasing the deluxe version it isn’t worth it. Plus stop doing that DG either sell the game complete or don’t sell it at all.

I will never buy another Domini game!

So this the second Domini game I purchased. The first one wouldn’t let me progress past a certain point because of a glitch that didn’t allow me to pick up a particular item I needed. This one just deleted profile because it said it was corrupted. I also had tried to buy another game that said it was 40% off. But when every time I tried to purchase it the message “cannot be purchased at this time” popped up. Someone at this company needs to get their act together.

No subscriber discount

I’m a subscriber and when I go to purchase this game the reduced subscriber rate does not work. Why be a subscriber if there are so many problems with Domini Games..smh. I expect a higher standard from Domini. I have sent in several issues regarding game issues with no follow through. Color me disappointed

I really enjoyed this one and there haven’t been enough good ones lately. The story is fun the game play is intriguing and the graphics are awesome! Just very well put together.

Very good

My four star rating is due solely for the maddingly unresponsiveness of the touch. At times it seemed almost impossible to select items or to use inventory. With that said, this series looks to be a very positive inclusion in the DOMINI offerings. I will look forward to coming games from this series. Overall I enjoyed it a great deal, but got frustrated with the touch.

City Legends: Crimson Shadow by LynxMinx

How could one describe the first game in this new series? Think Mystery Tales with more paranormal activity. Of course, the main storyline is about witches trying to steal souls in exchange for immortality. This is not a novel plot! The game was lengthy, the graphics were decent and the cinematography was exciting. The quality assurance was a bit better than in your previous release but it still left something to be desired, and at times the lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface was appalling. Most of the players didn’t say a thing because they rated the game before actually finishing it and were not objective. I am not mincing words. The gameplay in general was enjoyable, but we need more unique inventory usage. I am tired of digging in pots, fanning away fumes, moving branches with gloves and using umbrellas to reach distant objects. The game was not innovative. Give us something more unusual. Another problem that nobody mentioned was that in the extras section, you could not replay the mini-games! That is unacceptable. I liked the game but no way was this a 5 star experience.
Adjust the sensitivity on the gameplay interface. Give us novel inventory usage. Most of all, enough of the evil beings stealing souls for eternal life. I don’t want cookie cutter; I want mind blowing twists and turns. I want unpredictability! My rating will be 4 stars and I was quite generous. Oleg, fix the lack of touchscreen sensitivity already! If the players cannot replay the puzzles, that’s a huge glitch! They paid to have extras!
Also we need EIPIX. Then we would see innovation! You have the games. Why not earn revenue from them? At some point you will have to release those games, or your company will fail. You won’t have enough series on your own to sustain Domini. Please take my advice. The gamers want those EIPIX games. Nobody more so than I do, since it was my deal. I have tried to set you up for success, Oleg, but you don’t want to listen. My advice is golden, and you need to take it!

Highly recommended!

It seems like DominiGames quality control has improved, and also they are the only hidden object game developer consistently releasing games, unless there’s one I don’t know about…anyway, this was a very high quality game, and I always enjoy the extra features like the book and ritual item collections.
