One giant leap backwards
Previous version was fine. Now we have the clunkiest search function imaginable to deal with. Please rethink.
As bad as everyone else says
Wholeheartedly agree with all the other reviews. How did this get past the QA stage? Did anyone in the library actually test it? Awful.

old app better
such a step backwards. i loved the old app, it was so convenient for reserving books and making lists. the new one is terrible, so much less user friendly with an awful search function and no more lists. please bring back the old app.

Dreadful
Dreadful, the previous app was fine this app is not allowing me to sign in with my details now… it logged me out and I can’t get back in with my valid details. I used it for awhile and it is terrible UX and design 😢😭
Can we have the old app back?
Unfortunately this new app is currently worse than the original app. Not accessible, basic UX/UI principles ignored (eg ‘clear’ button on the right, vs submit button to the left), very plain and white colours everywhere so not distinct, my account section is not easy to navigate with words being cut off in certain widgets. No home button so you just have to keep going back.

A failure
Doesn’t even take you into your library account, just a browser for the council webpage. The previous app was great.
Not user friendly
Whilst the old app wasn’t great, this one isn’t much better. It is not very accessible and navigation is difficult due to the lack of basic features like a home button (it appears on some pages but not others which is crazy) After navigating through several pages I had to press the back button multiple times just to get back to the home page! The use of iconography is also very poor, with icons used that don’t represent the expected workflow. All in all a very disappointing experience which is a real miss for even basic UI/UX. Definitely needs improving
