The ads are so annoying especially after paying for an ap
The ads are so repetitive and take long to buffer and the entire ap is very glitchy and you have to reboot very often but the content is average to satisfactory

Every time an ad has to play you have to restart your app because your show was frozen. Love the content wish the app worked.

Content is good but the APP crashes
Got Citytv+ for Law and Order content. Love the shows but the app is horrible. Stops playing and shuts off during an episode or gets caught in the same episode and won’t move on to the next (or restarts even if half the episode has already been watched). Just gets frustrating while mid-episode and it shuts off.

Rogers stuck in 1999
It’s 2026 and Rogers is too cheap to develop a Smart tv or Roku app.

It says I have an active account but does not sign me in so a total waste of money
Waste of money
Can’t register my account. Can’t get into the app. Can’t screen share with Apple TV. What a waste of money and now I can’t cancel… Roger’s media ruins everything
Nice shows, but…
The app constantly logs me out. Super annoying, having to type my password pretty much every time I want to watch a show.
Glitchiest TV app
Constantly crashes, signs me out, and doesn’t save spot in show, so I end up having to watch ads a million times over to get back to where I was. I would completely avoid were it not for all the Law and Order series.
App Crashes too Often
App crashes after playing commercials during an episode, I end up having to watch the same 2-3 commercials 6 times when this happens. Your developers need to improve this. And I can’t even login to CityTV Plus on my Apple TV, and I can’t get an answer from Rogers support. Terrible user experience. I bet money any good reviews are just Rogers employees doing what they are told.

Horrible app
Worst streaming app in Canada. At least once a week it won’t show my list of shows. So we have to logout. But then the app craps out, so you have to restart it several times before you can eventually log out so you can log back in. Then of course your show list is fine. Until it randomly craps out again 5-10 days later.

Way too many glitches and tech issues and the number of ads (the same ads no less) is ridiculous given how much the subscription is with Sportsnet. I shouldn’t be paying $30 and having ads every 5 minutes

This is the message that shows up lately when we try to watch it. Very frustrating since we’re paying for this subscription that we struggle to access.
Soooo many commercials
The interruptions by the commercials is far worse then cable. I got Citytv plus when discovery plus discontinued in Canada. City is More expensive and filled with commercials. I will be canceling service.

App is super buggy and it doesn’t have casting capabilities. Super disappointing cancelled right away. Not worth the hassle
Good Content, Bad App
CityTV+ has tons of great content, but the app is horrible. It constantly glitches and freezes and often logs me out of the app when these glitches occur. It doesn’t matter what device I’m using or whether I’m watching directly through the app or casting from another device. Roger’s other apps like Sportsnet+ suffer from the same issues. Rogers is way behind their competitors when it comes to the functionality of their apps. Which is all the more frustrating given the amount of good content available on the app when it works.
