I love the vibes
I love to open the app in different cities when traveling by I am able to see the local spirit. If there no vibes I try to share something so that others can see it in the city.

I hope more people can share “vibes” it’s very useful to see what’s happening in your area.

A man approached me on campus and asked if I’d like to hear about this app, was quite insistent and wanted to know other information about me such as my Instagram. I deleted the app without opening it, I don’t want to take any risks and there was no credibility I could garner from this person that leads me to believe this isn’t some sort of scam or way to get your personal information like location, etc. There are only 5 star reviews on this app, and I’m sure they’re all developers since the man, apparently a Comp Sci major at my college, stated he and a group of 30 had made the app.

Sorry you felt that way, I want to ensure you that Apple implements strict guidelines that we met, and all the App Store apps are sandboxed in order to make them secure. CityVibes is a free app that lets you see what people are sharing in your city. With your permission, Location Services allows us to display the correct feed. Moreover, not sure if you heard incorrectly but we are not a team of 30, maybe one day. It's a different kind of social networking, filling a role that Facebook and similar "networks" don't. I can’t wait till more cities start posting! I love that there is no cache of personal information for apps and advertisers to mine, or for burglars to know their next target while you're publicly announcing you're on vacation, no constant Facebook changes without you being notified so suddenly your privacy settings are pointless, no getting your account hacked and having all your private info made vulnerable, no trying to figure out the privacy settings in the first place.

This app is pretty straightforward, it shows you all the cool things happing in your city. You can take pictures of the cities, places, and different cool things you may been to.
