Poor implementation, this app is a real hinderance.
So, we have to use apps like this now because some clients want us to.
The app makes it very difficult to provide the information that we want to be able to provide.
This app is very inefficient, when compared to traditional methods. It takes a split second to dictate the word ‘macadam’. When using this app, the word is buried in an endless network of drop down menus.
The aim of technology is to help us, but this app puts us in a worse position then we would be using traditional techniques that have been around for 25 years. I am sure that eventually there will be iPad apps that assist us in delivering our work, but this is far from being of any help whatsoever.
I have been commissioned to undertake about 20 inspections, using this and will avoid in the future.
