Good game

Although there’s only 12 missions total, the gameplay and difficulty is more even-handed than some of Hex games’ other titles. Personally I prefer having more content to sift through, but this is a fun time-killer if you don’t feel like having to play their 8-mission campaigns.

Good Game but some glitches.

The game is very good and would highly recommend. The glitches include the Confederate flag bugging out, and completing the bonus level crashes the game.

New update a disappointment

New update might work for iPhone but it is a serious downgrade on the iPad. Very small font and units, map is not centered and cannot be zoomed out like before which was better, buggy - does not recognize targets after movement nor show formation change button after moving.

IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN

This is a really annoying game. No matter what you do, you can't win. Save yourself the aggravation (and $$). Vote "No" to poorly-designed apps.

Love this game

Very nice gameplay

Excellent game

I enjoy all their small Civil War battle games. Thanks for the fun battles.

Nice game

This is my third HexWar Civil War game and it is good. Only one glitch, when I downloaded the game no icon showed up. To access it I am forced into going back through the App Store. What's up with that?

Opening shots

Another great release from Hunted Cow.A good selection of scenarios,a lot of 'American scramble',where the troops are committed where they are, with no time for manoeuvre. One,attacking a fortified position,is very 'Fort Wagner',with troops shuffling along the entrenchments, trying to force a way through.A lot of fun for £1.49.
