Clag is the classic British trick-taking card game - quick to learn, fiendishly hard to master.
You might know it as Oh Hell, Nomination Whist, Contract Whist, Blackout, or Up and Down the River.
Every game runs 17 deals. The hand size climbs from 1 card up to 7, passes through three brutal special rounds, then drops all the way back to 1. Before each deal you bid exactly how many tricks you think you'll take. Nail your bid precisely and bank a 10-point bonus - miss it by even one trick and the bonus is gone. Play it safe, or gamble everything on the perfect call?
