Really helpful app but currently broken and support team not responding
I really love using this app but since the last update, I get a “failure to load questions” error when trying to log dates. I’ve reached out to the support team email but no reply and it’s still broken. I’m hoping this review can help get some traction so I can keep using this app :)
Interesting but flaws
Heard about Clara on a podcast. I really like the concept and the questions. It’s a quick and easy way to record info on dates.
Big glitch => I like to use voice to text. However, when I do that for a note, the text disappears when I end the recording. It’s so very frustrating to lose an entire note. Now, I manually type each note.
Minor display issue => When finished typing a note, the DONE button isn’t visible. I have to click outside of the note to make the keyboard disappear, which makes the done button visible.
Overall, nice concept. I like it and I hope these issues are fixed.

Not editable
I LOVE the concept. Having “try outs”, “friendlies”, “cut” categories for my dating prospects is great. Immediate the app helped me feel that I’m reflecting on MY experience of the date rather than a “pick me” mindset. Two complaints which make this app less than usable for me: no ability to edit or modify date notes. No ability to get information out of the app if I wanted to analyze the data myself (and not good analysis built in). The data is all there — what type of date, how I felt, specific notes, locations. But no way to see trends or use that information going forward.

Buggy UI/UX
While the idea of the app is great, some of the functionality and UI/UX is very buggy. Text boxes don’t scale, you can’t hit next / done because the keyboard covers the button, etc. I just wish the app would fix these types of bugs so people could really use all its features.
Won’t let me get past adding dates
I try to add a date and when it asks where they live the Next button is greyed out
Hasn’t been usable in weeks
I’ve noticed the city option doesn’t populate anymore and you can’t add a prospect. I wish there was a way for it to accept what you’ve typed but it won’t let you move forward. Rest of the app was helpful when it worked
The city entry doesn’t work so I can’t enter any prospects
I was trying to enter a prospect and I couldn’t bc it wouldn’t let me get past the city page
Can’t even add prospects
I can’t even add prospects because the location field doesn’t work.
Stopped working
I like this app, and just started trying to use it again, but when trying to add a new prospect, it won’t go past the enter a city name step. Nothing populates when I type in the field.
Perfect until Glitched
I was loving this app but recently it’s glitching when I try to add a new prospect — the where they are from won’t populate and I can’t move forward. I’ve emailed support for help with no response. The app doesn’t work if you can’t put dates in it. So frustrated because I found it very helpful up to this point.

Mostly good
I’ve noticed the city option doesn’t populate and often makes it difficult to add a prospect. That’s the only glitch I’ve noticed. I wish there was a way for it to accept what you’ve typed but it won’t let you move forward. Rest of the app is helpful
0 star date glitch
Date didn’t let me answer vibe check questions after choosing a venue, resulting in a 0 score ):
Useful but
This app is so useful. I love the concept, the layout, and the extra questions that help me gain clarity.
My only complaint and request: the “date reflection” can’t be edited. I accidentally pressed “done” thinking it was the space button and now I can’t go back to add more. Same for “notes.” I have to re-add a whole new entry by starting over from scratch in order to do so. Makes me not want to use the app as much as would benefit me
Please add the option to edit “date reflection,” the date entry in general, and notes.
Other aspects of the app can be edited (such as name, age, etc) so why not the parts where I have to actually write stuff?

i was enjoying this app but it stopped working and i can’t log dates any more. very frustrating

It was a really good concept and I liked the app until i couldn’t keep adding dates. When I get all way to the questions, it only gives me 0/1 (zero of 1 questions) there is no question listed and doesn’t let me keep going nor saving if or hitting yes or no.
LOVING THIS APP
downloaded as a suggestion by Talia Koren @dating.intentionally and I am loving having this tool. As a single woman, newly approaching the dating world & dating app land … this helps to organize AND reflect. I highly suggest this for actively dating singles !
Great organization for dates
I’m really enjoying Clara so far. I recall hearing in the podcast that it was mvp, and I can see that for sure. But what is there is pretty great. I want to be able to edit things more than currently allowed. For example I have the wrong year on one of my dates and want to change it but can’t.
I like that you can reflect on your dates
I found the app via one of my favorite podcasts. Dating Intentionally. I have never done date tracking before. I have been dating on and off for the past few years without much success so I’m looking forward to seeing if tracking my dates helps.
Really well designed and useful app
Guilty admission: before Clara, I used to keep track of all the women I matched with on apps truth my phone notes just to make sure I checked in with everyone and didn't forget anyone (not a flex, just the truth lol).
Clara took that to a whole other level though. I'm able to organize my prospects with pictures, names, locations, notes in a journal style, and date logs that track how I'm feeling about a certain person based on our interactions. It's a one-stop shop to make sure I date in the most optimal and efficient way possible, which is beyond useful for some whose brain works in the way mine does.
Fantastic idea for an app and supremely well executed on initial roll out. Can't wait to see how it's improved in the future as well!

Where has this been?!
I have joked about making a spreadsheet of my dates forever but this is even better! The app is easy to use and asks specific questions that allow you to be honest with yourself about your dating life. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
