SMS

Slow, misses texts , won’t send texts.

Great app

Love the app. Has all the functionality for me to make an outbound call through my business number without having to use my personal cell.

Unhappy customer

I could not be less impressed! Service has been loot at best. Blame everything on the franchise or the process and never resolved any issues I had. Super super dissatisfied.

Worst Office Communication Tool Ever

This app has actively made my business communication harder. Some of the difficulties include, but are not limited to, (1) my calls appearing as spam, (2) the inability to send or receive emojis, (3) the service randomly going out so that I can’t send or receive phone calls for some time, (4) not being able to send pictures, (5) it can’t recognize when customers send Apple contacts, meaning I have to get them to re-send their referrals as text messages or emails. This is a non-exhaustive list. I have routinely had to give out my personal cell phone so that customers can reliably get in touch with me. Do yourself a big favor and do not use this service!

The apps never works, it does not pick up the calls

As title, please stay away from this company.

The voip apps never work, and I have been using them for 4 months. I cannot receive the calls or customer cannot hear me. Now I am trying to cancel, and the company ask for 75% of early cancellation for 2 contracts years.

Bad company, please stay away

Essential, but beyond buggy

My company uses Clarity for our phone system, since our employees are all remote. Unfortunately, the system has an incredible number of bugs, one of the most major being that the app sometimes simply does not alert you of calls that are coming in. (This is not an account login or authentication issue, because even when the calls do not come in, notifications for text messages come in— often 2-3 duplicate notifications for the same message.)

Other bugs include:
- in-app call menu is occasionally inexplicably inaccessible or laggy (leading to not being able to put calls on hold or transfer calls)
- emoji show up as question marks in all except the small message preview screen (not in the conversation view, which causes a great deal of confusion when staff unfortunately use emoji to communicate, a process which I am attempting to curb regardless of the app’s ability to display them)
- calls occasionally ring strangely (double space of 2-3 second pauses between each ring) which causes frequent confusion as to whether a call has been picked up or not
- incoming calls are impossible to silence while in an ongoing call, which leads to the call you’re on being silenced or interrupted by beeps that prevent you from hearing the person you’re speaking with
- transfers occasionally just don’t go through (even when the number being transferred to is correct)
- every so often, audio simply does not work (we are left unable to hear the client, or the client is unable to hear us).

The issues presented are simply perplexing because most of them are not present 100% of the time, and triggers are either unknown or inconsistent, but app updates have not served to help with the issues.

My company still relies on Clarity as a phone system even with these bugs, however, so I am hopeful that these issues can be resolved for a more positive customer experience!

Clarity Office Anywhere

We have ongoing issues where the line goes dead and neither person can hear the other, or the app just randomly closes while you’re using it, or you try to call and calls won’t go through, or the app freezes while you’re using it. It’s not a great system. I definitely feel that clarity could do a lot better with this app. It’s been troublesome enough that I’ve considered switching franchise phone providers.

It’s okay

It’s an okay app. I think the layout is good for what I need it for, however, it doesn’t matter how many bars of internet I have, it constantly drops calls whenever I’m trying to talk with potential clients which doesn’t leave a good impression.

Functionality

It is terrible on IOS
The voice mail and some other features are not operable. The app response is super slow.
didn’t try on Android but think the same.

Please fix!!

Clarity is great but their app is not good at all. It often lags and they updated the app now when you text you can not see what you’re typing where before you were able to. Please extend the typing window so we can see what text messages we are sending out because this isn’t working!! Otherwise the app would be good

Dysfunctional App

App does not perform common tasks and freezes quite frequently.

Important app that we need in our business, but needs improvements

Clarity Office Anywhere is a great addition to our Clarity Voice VOIP service. During this Coronavirus situation it has proved to be invaluable to our team. Only giving it three stars though as the app has been laggy as of late, and takes too much time to perform some common tasks like switching tabs at the bottom, sending messages, etc.

This app is terrible.

Clarity could learn a lot by modeling GoDaddy’s SmartLine app. The latter doesn’t continually crash when trying to call out using the dialer. So frustrating! Sure this can be remedied by deleting and reinstalling the app, but that is not an acceptable workaround. And yes, my phone’s operating system is up to date.

No. Just no.

This phone system is very complicated. It does have a lot of features that are good in theory, but it is just too time consuming to learn everything. It has been nothing but a headache since our company adopted this app. We have spent many hours just trying to learn all of the ins and outs and seems we are always doing test calls to make sure it is being forwarded correctly. Don’t waste your time and money on this system!!!

I like.

Love the ability to SMS from my phone.

It's Ok.

Customers have a hard time hearing me due to echo. Sometimes cuts in and out.
Sits idle trying to register number.
Cut and paste from messenger to app would be nice.
