Clarivore

Clarivore helps you eat out without guessing. Search verified restaurant menus by your allergies and dietary restrictions, see which dishes are safe for you, and confirm details with the restaurant before you order. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Set your allergies and dietary restrictions once. We highlight compatible dishes in every restaurant's menu that you browse. • Search any participating restaurant's full menu by dish name or ingredient. • See clear allergen flags on every dish: milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, shellfish, fish, soy, sesame, and wheat. • See clear dietary restriction flags for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free. • Save favorite restaurants and dishes so you can find them again fast. • When ordering meal, send a notice of your food allergies and dietary restrictions directly to the kitchen and receive acknowledgment back directly. HOW IT WORKS Each participating restaurant uploads its own menu and ingredient information. Clarivore uses optical character recognition and AI to help restaurants extract and classify the data, but the restaurant's manager reviews and confirms every dish before it appears in the app. The restaurant is the source of truth. IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE RELYING ON CLARIVORE Clarivore is not a substitute for confirming directly with the restaurant before you eat, and it is not medical advice. Recipes change, ingredients get substituted, and cross-contact can happen even when a dish is not labeled as containing an allergen. If you have a severe or life-threatening food allergy, always tell your server about your allergies and confirm what you intend to order is safe. WHO IT'S FOR Diners with food allergies, intolerances, celiac disease, or dietary preferences who want to plan a meal at a participating restaurant before they walk in. Clarivore is currently free to use. Restaurant managers can request to onboard their restaurant from clarivore.org.
