Very often it is pronouncing words wrong , needs updating on recognition of different font styles and perhaps to be able to recognise handwriting would be really great.

I’ve been using this app for a bit now and it’s very useful to hand. When I’m out and about without my software connected to my PC I can use this app. which is rather useful when in a situation where I’m not understanding the words are the letter so very good useful app for your phone!!!
Disappointed!
I purchased this app to help my students with disabilities become more independent; however, the app does not read but about 30% of the words correctly. My students loved the fact they could scan in a test and not have to wait on me when I am working with other students, but I still have to clarify what the app says most of the time which is a disappointment.

Amazing has helped me with my dyslexia
If you have dyslexia or anybody around you has dyslexia you should talk about this app of them because it is very helpful.

Rubbish
Absolutely rubbish and complete waste of my money! I'm a student and need help with my reading, but this doesn't read nearly half of the words correctly! It's not even reading THE as one word but instead says T..H.. not helpful and Im very disappointed!

This app does not do a good job reading the text. I can't get it to read accurately, so there is no way my child with dyslexia can use it.
A great learning app
It is easy to use and great for supporting beginner readers in the classroom. One thing that needs improving on is the ability to read handwriting and some of the "funkier" looking fonts. Looking forward to more improvement on this app.
Really good but there's some bugs and glitches
Really helpful and worth my money fully if these little bugs are fixed and the app is optimized the multiple page feature doesn't work and the camera freezes and I have to close app and then open to take another picture I have an iPhone 6s

This app doesn't work at all!! It doesn't say the correct words that you highlighted!! After you downloaded it didn't give you directions on how to work on it either. There is so many things that are wrong with this app it is unbelievable!!! Save your money and don't get this app!! If I could post this review without having to do a star review I would have!!

This app is great! However, Please bring the instant rendering, selecting and playing to ClaroSpeak+ and please add Dropbox integration, background listening, PDF support, and in-app purchased voices across all Claro apps since they are the same purchase done multiple times.
Not accurate enough but great functionality
If you are looking for an app that reads an isolated word, Claro Scan Pen is perfect. It's the first app that finally feels like it was developed with a dyslexic reader in mind (not a translating app that a dyslexic can use.) Unfortunately with larger sections of text, I found that it was simply not as accurate as Prizmo. I tested it with an ipod touch and an ipad mini.
