Buggy app
App constantly asks you to log in, even after you’ve logged in. There are no notifications either when your lots are coming up or that you got outbid etc. it’s really just useful for browsing. The scrolling gets stuck a lot and the app constantly restarts. The old app was slightly better than this “updated” one

We placed the starting bid of $200 for a German wall clock. No one else placed a bid; however, we did not get the clock. We called Clars and was told that the owner of the clock had a reserve price of $400. Don’t know if this was a mistake, routine practice, or deception on the part of Clars.

The app works really well, great for bidding and following the action. Highly recommend.
It is not responding
I will be bidding and have swiped repeatedly and the auction closes...I would be doing on the iPad and cell so one is on wifi the other is not...it is sticky....not responsive I have lost so many lots thinking I have bid and someone else wins although my bid was higher...live Auctioneers is better.
Add 25% on top of winning bid rip off.
Had to pay an extra 25% bidding premium on top of what I won the auction for. They said it’s thier sellers fee. What a jip.

Nothing but good things to say about this establishment. Everyone that we have met beginning with the wonderful and helpful office staff and then the specialists that have helped us Rick, Emily, Claire, Derek .... along with everyone else....made us feel comfortable in a setting that we are not used to. We had our first Business encounter with Clars in late 2014. We have recommended Clars to many of our friends and will continue to do so. Looking forward to the auction today and the one in May! Thank you all for your patience and great judgment from our family! I’m sure will have many more dealings through the upcoming years.
