Great App!

I've been using Class Planner now for about a month. It's been very helpful with planning and scheduling my private EFL classes. While I think it is great, sometimes I wish it was just a little more robust. And, I also have trouble syncing it from my laptop to my iPad. Otherwise, it really does what I need it to do most -- organize my classes and plans!

Great app!

This has proven to be my new favorite planner, and I've bought many. I would, however, like to be able to have multiple templates. Very few of are days are the same because of scheduling. Also, I would like to be able to get to other days without going back to the main calendar page each time. Other than these, I am enjoying the app.

Help!!

How can i see all 20 classes at once ?

Response from developer

An active subscription gives you access to up to 20 classes. If you are subscribed you can set the available classes from the Schedule Option screen, which is accessible from the settings screen in the app.

Completely impressed

I came across an issue using this app, and within LESS than 2 days, the developer found and fixed the bug, and was amazing with communicating with me along the way.
This app is easy on the eyes, not complicated and crowded on the screen. It is easy to input all my data, the color coding is perfect, since my class subject binders and notebooks are color coded as well, and being able to print the pdf of that week is so super helpful. Also, being able to put standards for each lesson is awesome to keep me on track and make sure I’m hitting all goals!
I really appreciate this app and I’m so glad I came across it on my hunt for the perfect lesson planner.... this is it.

The best at integration

I'm subscribed to a trio of teacher apps from this developer, and I love the all. Glen is the most responsive developer I've encountered. But he goes beyond: he actualy incorporates users' experiences into the app. The planner app, for example, works so well across platforms. I recommend the all.

Response from developer

Thanks. I appreciate your feedback. Users like you really help contribute to the continuous improvement of my apps.

Clunky and crashy

An awkward interface that for me works the wrong way around. Most schools have a fixed timetable, with bells and buzzers ringing at regular intervals. For example, there might be 5 lessons a day, at the same times every day. What you want is to be able to set up a school week (or two) and then input which classes you teach at which times. Year 7 Monday P1, Year 10 Monday P2 etc.
This software expects you to input the classes and then individually set the times for each instance of that class. It's not even possible to quickly tab from a start time to an end time. Input is interrmittently unreliable, sometimes ignoring key strokes. It takes ages just to set up one class' times. The software crashed three times while I was trying to do my second class.
I'd have happily paid the £1.49 a month for this, but realised quickly that it was unworkable and impractical.

Response from developer

Rob, I'm sorry you didn't reach out to me (support@inpocketsolutions.com), I'd be happy to help. It is actually really easy to set up with same start/end times for a class if it is the same every day. In fact, the default setting is a switch that says 'Same time each day'. With that you just enter the time once and it is used for all days the class meets. I'm guessing you turned that switch off which then shows you inputs for the start/end times for each day. Feel free to email me and I'd be happy to answer any further questions.

Great so far, but...

Clickbait title, but I had a question. Is there a way to make the view by month instead of it being by week?

Response from developer

Not sure why you find the title clickbait....would love to hear from you by email at support@inpocketsolutions.com The main screen screen shows by week as it shows 1 class for the free version but up to 20 classes for the active subscription. You can tap on the class name to show an individual class, and then view that class by 1 week, 2 weeks, 2 month and some other options. There would not be enough space to fit multiple classes on a monthly calendar.

Not working

The planner says I am currently subscribed but when I try to view more than a few classes I get an alert saying I am not subscribed. I cannot access anything and growing rather frustrated because I have to get these plans up by tomorrow.

UPDATE: developer responded to the matter quickly and efficiently. Great app and as you can see I depend on it heavily!

AMAZING customer service

The developer replied to my concern, diagnosed the problem, and updated the app within 24 hours! The Google Classroom integration is nice. I’m hoping for it to include the ability to post lesson activities as Google Classroom assignments. Good teacher lesson planning app.

Best Layout and Customer Service

This has been an incredible app to use. I am an elementary teacher and plan for a lot of subject areas at different grade levels, and the layout of this planner is by far the best I have found. When I had a small issue with the pdf function, I emailed and got a response back promptly and they worked until they could find the bug and updated the app to fix it. Best customer service ever, and I highly recommend the app!
