We don’t have a full-time Classical station here in Charleston South Carolina. I stumbled across Classical FM a few years back while looking for a good Christmas station. I’ve been a fan ever since. I have their app on my iPad and my iPhone. It’s near the top of my sites on my iMac and best of all - through the magic of technology- I can stream it while in my automobile. The presenters are all knowledgeable and have delightful senses of humor. And the only way it could be better is if they’d let me help the music. If you’re a classical music lover, I can’t recommend this station highly enough.

Good sound in HD mode. Quality selections.
I have been in need for a high quality classical music station for some time that delivers in quality and quality and this app delivers. Appreciate the hd mode after membership, which is free.

Best station ever
American here. Discovered Classic FM years ago, frequently listening at the office where I got into trouble streaming on the company’s computer. Apparently I was using too many bites or electrons or something. Real bummer. So discovering an app was like having the clouds part and getting a gift from on high. Now I listen everywhere and anywhere. Great programs and informative hosts. The app itself is wonderful. I can stream live, download and/or subscribe to my favorite programs, use the catch up screen to revisit favorites or “catch up” if I had to miss something. And now the sleep timer easily accessible as well.

I love the music selection, even the ads are enjoyable. I REALLY love that from my iPad I can play the wonderful music across my Chromecast devices, that is FANTASTIC.
Recovering from brain surgery
I had brain surgery 2 years ago and blood clots in my lungs that took my life. God is so much alive that He gave me life again to share this with you.
Classical music is so soothing and relaxing it has helped me so much.
Unbeknownst to you perhaps God has used you and your station to heal me.

App causes my iPad to freeze and restart
Great station and music - but - this app causes my iPad to freeze and restart on its own - definitely the app causing this issue

I have listened almost exclusively to CLASSIC FM for 10 years.
The current app is dropping me about every 5 minutes. Please correct this.

This is a great app, they should consider making an Apple TV app as well!
Older devices left out
I've listened to ClassicFM for years via the app on my iPad. It was great! Could listen from anywhere in the world. Just had a "crash" though, and had to reload everything from the "cloud." The app didn't come through, so I went to the site to download again. Imagine my horror at learning that the new app requires iOS 10 or higher! My older device (still works fine!) won't upgrade past 9.3.5. Surely I'm not the only fan who doesn't have a newer gadget? Why leave us out in the cold? There should be a way to load an older or simpler version with fewer bells and whistles that will run on lesser iOS. I give a one-star rating merely in honor of the wonderful old app. Hope their tech wizards can fix this glitch.

Cannot listen to it while on background
App no longer allows listening to it while it is on the background, nor with the screen turned off.
After iOS 12 upgrade, doing any of those actions just turns the station off.

I love listened to Classic FM on my laptop and now i Can take it with me wherever i go! I particularly love the sleep timer feature! It is so hard to find a music app that still has this. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THAY AWAY! I set for 2 hours on my phone and then fall asleep. Seriously... Nailed it! Thank you!

Everything about this station is wonderful! I absolutely love it. Not only does the station have such a wide variety of songs they play, but from what I’ve heard the people even on the station are so inviting!

Please fix latest App version
After using the App for the past 5 years, latest version stops playing when my iPhone locks out of an active screen. Thus, I can not stream without leaving the phone on unlocked mode.
Please fix.
Update: App working now, issue was Mobile Provider connection and app buffering.
