Games come and go but minesweeper is timeless.
I would say 60 % is skills the rest is luck. If y may update my review after a few more years of playing Minesweeper I now estimate to be 85% skills as it is possible to test the end game equally possible answers
This particular version is well written and maintained, advertising is discreet and short lived.
I thoroughly recommend this app.

Fun and Addicting
This game is fun & just like the ones I played on my computer for years. I like the games that are still simple, the same as when growing up. I don’t enjoy the modern changes of the older games.

The ads just keep getting longer and longer, so I’ll try something else.

Previous review: Most scoring completions aren’t added timely and a large number aren’t added at all. Please fix this! Fun retro game though. Would give 5 stars if this simple issue were fixed. What’s the point of competing against yourself or others if the score isn’t tracked correctly?...

Bad Ads!!!
I like the game very much, but HATE the ads to the point where I will stop playing.
The ads are disgusting (ways to kill mice and bugs with pictures of dead mice and bugs?!?!?). I read other comments that say even after paying for premium, there are still ads. (Premium lists “no ads” as a benefit)

What is wrong?
I played beginner and the flag did not come down. Tried the intermediate and the 2 had one flag and the 3 had two flags. I am deleting.
Ads blocking playing field!!
This app was GREAT until there are google ads that come up on the bottom of the screen and block part of the bottom line makes it hard to see. Fix it, please!!
Trump advertisements constantly
This hateful, useless, treasonous arse continues to invade my space with advertisements. If this continues, I won’t keep playing the game. Make it stop!
Love this game but video adds are annoying
I don’t care if the game has a small banner add along the edge, but those video adds that play between games are really annoying, especially when they don’t happen every time. I’ll be enjoying some peace and quiet and the a loud as fuq video add will start playing.
No dramas
Pretty good game with the ads quick and no drama. Found you had to be firm with the mines or it miscoded. But the clearing of mines by pressing on a numbered square was an excellent feature. Dont remember that feature in the original.
You had one job...
Numbers do not accurately reflect the amount of bombs a piece is touching. A "2" can have 4 bombs touching and still be a "2"

Pop up ads
Certain pop up ads keep popping up and there is no way to close these ads. I have to click on the ads and try to close said ads. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn’t. One simply stupid ad then pops up over and over. The issue is that the banner cuts off about 20% of the minesweeper puzzle and I cannot see what the banner is covering. I don’t feel that I should have to pay money to get the banner to stop covering the 20% of the mine field.

Fun and challenging.
You better concentrate or you'll hit a mine . It'd be great if there were a replay option so you could replay a game where you accidentally blew it.
