Basically nothing is free you have to pay for all of this stuff this app sucks if you don’t pay
As of spring 2026, crashes quite soon after launch
I’ve had this app forever, paid for the ad-free tier, but now it crashes almost immediately after I’ve selected a movie. Playing its live channels seems to work, but otherwise this app is broken.

I have been using this app for a while now and I love it I just have one complaint PLEASE TAKE LONE RAGER OFF OF CLASSIX+! I love the show and I can’t watch it anywhere else other than that great app
The UI is not great, but the Apple Watch app - SO FUN!!
Impossible to complain about the cost of the service. The choices of movies to watch are interesting, but the fact you can watch the movies on the Apple Watch is such great fun, and I love they keep supporting it!
Needs more money
I downloaded this because I like going to sleep to classic movies. Then it was pay $7.99 for no commercials, so I paid that. Now the movies I was watching are part of Classix+.The quality is no better,but they want more money for the exact same thing I was already watching

Merci pour votre retour, et désolé pour cette expérience. Votre achat à vie n’est pas perdu. Il arrive parfois que l’app se déconnecte et demande à nouveau l’accès. Il suffit d’ouvrir l’app et d’aller dans Réglages → Restaurer les achats pour réactiver Classix+ sans repayer. Si le problème persiste, contactez-nous depuis l’app et nous vous aiderons rapidement.
Classic TV
I love this app/service, and have been using it since its inception; the only thing that has consistently annoyed me is that after watching an episode of a show – instead of going back to the home screen or show page – the screen just turns black and states at the end of the show. Similarly, after a movie is over, it starts from the beginning again. These habits then leave a long list of TV shows and movies in your “continue watching” tab.
I really hoped this issue would’ve been resolved with the major “26“ software updates, but it still persists.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback and for being a longtime Classix user, we really appreciate it. You’re absolutely right about this behavior. We’ve been able to reproduce the issue where the player doesn’t properly close at the end of an episode or movie, which can result in a black screen. This is now identified as a player lifecycle bug on our side, and we’re actively fixing it. The correction will be included in an upcoming update so that playback exits cleanly back to the show or home screen when content finishes. Thanks again for calling this out and for your patience, feedback like this genuinely helps us make the app better.
Silent movies, old TV shows
Be honest. Changing the previously free ‘Live TV’ , now behind a paywall, is not a bug fix.

This is punishment customers get for paying for lifetime access. Your app doesn't work, get it together and stop being ripoff artists.

I have a lot of apps, some very useful, some necessary, some come and go. This has to be the coolest app I have. The content is fantastic. But where it’s streets ahead: I can play movies on my watch! Who else

Downloads do not play offline
I think this has great promise, and I’ve watched several TV/Movies.
However the ‘download’ only plays when a Cell/Wi-Fi connection is present. I downloaded several to watch during a recent trip. Nothing plays without a connection. Then what is the point of a download?

I’d love to see a Film Noir category on Classix; there are so many fantastic old movies that are worth watching, starring so many big names from the Golden Age of Hollywood. I can find a lot of this genre on YouTube and Internet Archive but it would be great to have more to watch on Classix.
Best £7.99 I ever spent
I was going to purchase Hard Times for the same price on the Apple Store. I bought this app instead. A no brainer. Too early for a review. My gut feeling is if you like old movies, this is the app for hours of entertainment.

The app doesn’t load the videos
It worked fine when I tested it, but after paying for it I cannot see any videos loading on the home page. It tells me it can’t connect on the internet, which can’t be on my side because all other apps work fine. I feel like I paid for a buggy, maybe unusable app.
