Un grand pas pour la vie privé et la sécurité

Le suivis du web ne devrait en réalité se limiter qu’à l’audimat via le ping et l’ip et autres adresse MAC pour le SEO. Seul les comptes enregistrés en devient l’outil de suivis pour la part commerciale. Clean Links nous l’apporte au travers de tout nos OS. Coupant ainsi la route aux espions commerciaux utile aux criblage mafieux. Il ne reste plus qu’au web de nous débarrasser des cookies… Peux l’on pensé, vous l’avez fait.

On ne peux osez espéré mieux

Nous revoilà au commencement tel que le permette à l’époque Netscape. Un Web libre ou la valeur commercial n’en devient plus le maitre mot. Au passage ont peut repenser à tout les pages web imprimé en PDF avec des liens sans doute encore plausiblement actifs. Mais avec cette application j’en comprends que les liens de suivis s’en trouve nettoyé avant l’ouverture. Votre navigateur exposé au usage sérieux peux également être distinct d’un usage surf ce qui permet de diminué notre finger-print face aux renifleurq du web.

Easy to use

This app is very important for privacy, these apps don’t exist in the app store, so this is a rare find. Removes youtube and amazon tracking urls, amazing! Thank you!

Amazing app but wish it was more stable/consistent

Thanks for a great tool! However, could you please look into a few bugs on iOS? (I couldn’t find a feedback form in-app)
1) the share sheet UI can leave in xpid parameters in Amazon
2) the Safari extension often doesn’t work. After pressing the button, the UI just flashes but there’s no message indicating any links were cleaned—which can be confirmed by inspecting hyperlinks on the page. This also happens on Amazon.

Good but lingering bug spoils it

It’s a fantastic app, but Facebook marketplace links have been broken for months. Instead of just getting rid of the question mark and everything after, it gives a weird spammy ad link.

I’ll update my review once that’s fixed, because it’s a really irritating bug.

Love this app! No thrills and no BS - it does exactly as advertised

Want to get rid of trackers and other non-necessities attached to your shared links from YouTube, etc? Use this app. It does as advertised. And, the developer makes other apps that are equally as wonderful and are not slop. Give it a try, it’s free. 😋

Danke für den Hinweis und für die 4 Sterne. Du hast recht: „reinigt in jeder App“ war zu pauschal formuliert. Clean Links funktioniert nicht in jedem App-Flow gleich, weil es davon abhängt, was iOS im Teilen-Menü bzw. über Erweiterungen zulässt. Den applink.insta…-Fall habe ich notiert und ich werde die Beschreibung klarer machen. Du erreichst uns dazu jederzeit unter support@cleanlinks.app oder über Discord / X (@CleanLinksApp), damit wir uns den konkreten Fall ansehen können.

Great until it isn’t

This app is not suitable for devs. More often than not, it gets in your way and modifies your clipboard content the way you don’t want it to.

Thanks for the review and the feedback. The clipboard watcher is an optional feature in the macOS version of the app and cleaning up text on clipboard is yet another optional feature under it. Based on your feedback, we've made changes to the "Clean Copied Text" feature to ignore code on the macOS pasteboard in the latest update (1.0.14). I hope that addresses the issue. Works well, but still connects to network

Great option for QR codes, but really needs a way to prevent automatically expanding short links. This can still attribute a click to you if the original URL was targeted or shared only to you.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. You’re right that some short links require a network request to resolve. Clean Links only does that when the final destination cannot be determined from the URL alone, which is common with URL shorteners and some ad-network redirects. Those requests go directly from your device to the destination, not through our servers, and we do not log the links you clean. We also use isolated requests with no persisted cookies or browsing history, and we strip tracking parameters before and after redirects. We mention this in our FAQ under “Is this really local?” Edit: Based on your feedback, we've added an "Allow network requests" toggle in the app settings and for shortcuts. Great App for Cleaning Useless Tracking Junk from Links

It occasionally leaves a dangling piece but saves me a bunch of editing before I send links to others or when posting online.

Intuitive with One (Minor) Flaw

App does exactly what it says it does with no extra fluff or frills. It just works and that’s pretty refreshing these days. However, to the developer: when opening a cleaned link in browser I noticed it goes straight to Safari and this can’t be changed. I use Chrome as my default browser—never touch Safari. Being able to select your browser, or bare minimum have the app use the browser the user has selected as their “default browser” in their iPhone settings seems like a simple update/implementation. My two cents!

Thanks for the review! For privacy reasons, iOS does not provide an API for apps to find out what the users' default browser is. The latest version of the app (1.0.11), now detects if Chrome is installed on the device and adds a "Open in Chrome" button.

Fantastic app

I really enjoy the service this app provides. Makes it very easy to strip identifying parameters out of URLs and helps decipher URL shortener links. I also use their shortcut as one of the widgets on my Lock screen to read QR codes from the camera, and the app works very well in this regard too. Regular updates, easy to use, fast results - bravo.
