CleanMind: AI Storage Cleaner

Make room for what matters, with a clearer view of what you can clean. CleanMind brings similar photos, screenshots, large videos, and duplicate-file candidates into an organized review on iPhone and iPad, with reasons to help you decide what to keep. Apple Vision finds similar photos on device, while free local-rule plans explain candidates, risks, and estimated sizes. Cloud AI is an optional addition; you stay in control of every deletion. CleanMind does not pretend to scan your entire device: it reviews only the Photos access you grant and the single folder you explicitly choose in Files. Photo cleanup • Group visually similar photos with Apple Vision on device • Identify screenshots and screen recordings • Flag low-quality candidates for human review • Highlight videos with a large estimated size • Support full or limited Photos access • Do not force-download iCloud originals for scanning Folder cleanup • Scan only one folder selected through the system picker • Find large and older files • Compare exact duplicates with a local streaming SHA-256 hash • Skip hidden items, package contents, symbolic links, and undownloaded cloud placeholders • Recheck file identity and the digest before deletion Explainable AI review • Device rules remain available without cloud AI • Optional cloud AI provides recommendations, reasons, confidence, and risk notes • AI cannot select items, execute commands, or delete anything • Before deletion, verify against the latest accessible scan that every similar-photo or duplicate-file group still has an unselected member; stop and require a rescan if the state changed • Continue with local rules when cloud AI is unavailable Privacy by design Photos, videos, and file contents stay on your device. Only after you give explicit consent and request a cloud plan does the CleanMind relay receive the candidate metadata listed in the consent notice, your preferred output language, and a StoreKit signed credential used only for entitlement verification; the credential is never forwarded to DeepSeek. After verification, the relay sends only the metadata and output language to DeepSeek for analysis. Full paths, Photos asset identifiers, and device storage totals are excluded. Clear deletion behavior CleanMind submits deletion requests for the photos you reviewed through PhotoKit; iOS and iPadOS handle Photos permission and system confirmation flows. Recently Deleted, recovery windows, and iCloud behavior follow the current Photos app rules and settings. Files in the authorized folder are deleted only after a separate warning and confirmation. CleanMind has no file trash or undo; recovery depends on the Files location or provider, and deletion may sync. Designed for iPhone and iPad iPhone uses compact tab navigation and a fixed review action area. iPad adds a sidebar, multi-window support, orientation-aware layouts, and keyboard-friendly review. Because of the iOS and iPadOS sandbox, CleanMind cannot scan other apps or the rest of your device, and it cannot uninstall other apps. Local scanning and local-rule plans are free. Optional cloud AI requires an active CleanMind AI yearly subscription or lifetime purchase. Apple StoreKit handles purchases; manage or cancel the yearly subscription in Apple Account settings. Requires iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later.
