Love their products

Well worth the money! You won’t find any others like them. The Mac version is A+ also!

Photo/Contacts

Didn’t do a good job merging contacts and confused people at the same companies. Not easy to reverse like the photos it deleted. I have now contacted 2 times and not getting anywhere with support.

Reliable and fast

I use clean my Mac so naturally decided to get it for my phone too- it just works!

Perfect iPhone/iPad Cleaner

Highly suggest you have your devices backed up prior to fully utilizing this app.

Helpful app

Very handy. Thank you.

Worth every $ spent

I have a yearly subscription and I’ve used this app throughout the entire year. Definitely worth the money!

Impossible

This app will not scan your phone in the background and it takes hours of leaving your phone unlocked open with the app front center in order for it to even scan

Great App

Fast and Quick. Great!

Keep up the great work!

this app is horrible

this app deleted multiple years of photos that i will never get back just bc they had “similar” backgrounds

Missing photos after running it.

Purchased the product because of CleanMyMac, a product I really use and enjoy. I don’t understand what it did to my photos. But I’m missing several un replaceable photos after running it. MacPaw should turn this product into a security product, searching for malware, and speeding up phone’s processes. I don’t recommend this product if your photos are important to you. On the other hand, I highly recommend Clean My Mac.

Useful App, Relentless Review Prompts

I paid for a yearly subscription to CleanMyPhone. While I find its intended functionality useful, being repeatedly spammed with requests for an App Store review after every few cleanup selections and runs makes me dread even opening the app.

I have In-App Ratings & Reviews disabled at the iOS system level. CleanMyPhone nevertheless continues asking me for an App Store review after every few cleanup selections and runs. I do not know why these requests continue despite that setting, but after six months of seeing them inside what is supposed to be a premium, paid subscription app, I relent.

I hope submitting the review I have been repeatedly pressured to leave will finally make the prompts stop so I can simply use the app I paid for.

Best phone cleaner

I use the desktop cleaner and decided to try this app. It did on a few minutes what similar apps take why seems like forever. Got my phone back on line!

Best utility for Mac

Been using Macpaw products for years!

Very good, struggles at scale

Scans are very good at tagging duplicates and similars as well as other common junk categories (screenshots etc). Two major limitations hold this back from being perfect; first, album- awareness. Given 2 similar photos the one I have saved to multiple albums shouldn’t be the one autoselected for deletion. This alone prevents me from “trusting” the smart suggestions - I’d love to go nuke all the duplicates in my library that aren’t saved to my organized albums but sadly that isn’t possible.

Second, the “sensitive photos” mechanic requires you to individually flag photos and wait for an “undo action” timer to finish. At scale this isn’t a sufficient means to bulk- mark memories or albums to be excluded from future scans and reviews. If I’ve already reviewed 100 groupings of similars and decided /not/ to delete 80 of them, I shouldn’t have to re-review those 80 every time, and instead should be able to mark them as done.
