About

Look around. The litter on your street, the overflowing bin in the park, the trash dumped by the road. You see it every day, and every day it waits for someone else to deal with it. CleanSpot is built on a simple idea: that someone is you. And you're not alone. CleanSpot is a global community turning everyday frustration into real, visible action. Put a problem on the map, and watch your neighbours, your city, and people across the world help turn it around. SPOT IT See litter and live cleanup activity around you, or anywhere on Earth. Drop a pin with a photo in seconds. What everyone ignores becomes impossible to unsee. CLEAN IT Volunteer to clean a spot, log it with a before-and-after, and leave bags for collection. Start or join organized cleanup events and bring people together for the places you love. REPORT IT CleanSpot goes beyond litter. Flag broken sidewalks, dead streetlights, illegal dumping, and other civic problems. In partner cities, municipal teams pick reports up directly. You'll see the status change as your city triages, assigns, and resolves them, and you may even get an official thank-you from your municipality. Everywhere else, your report stays visible to the community until it's handled. Your voice doesn't disappear into a void. TOGETHER Follow a living feed of real reports and cleanups. Build local groups, connect with people who care, and lift each other up. Earn points, unlock badges, and rise from Newcomer to City Hero as your impact grows. This is more than an app. It's a movement to take back our shared spaces. One spot, one street, one city at a time, all over the world. Spot it. Share it. Clean it. Welcome to CleanSpot.

Read reports in any language, see what's behind your profile numbers, and repeat a cleanup in a couple of taps. NEW See translation Reports and events written in another language are no longer a wall. Tap "See translation" to read one in your own language, with the original always one tap away. Editing a report that isn't in your language? Write your changes in yours and they're translated back. Your profile stats open up Reported, Cleaned, Likes and Thanks are now buttons. Tap any one to see the full list behind the number. A fuller Recent activity Your profile now covers the last 30 days instead of your last five items, and shows everything you do — cleanups, reopened reports and events sit alongside your reports. Quiet profiles still show recent items, so the list never shows less than before. Host again Organisers can repeat a cleanup in a couple of taps. The create form reopens with everything from last time — details, cover photos and the people who came. Simpler Discover filters Location, who posted, and report type are now three clear dropdowns. IMPROVED • Cleanups and resolved issues use the same buttons as every other post — like, comment, save and share — so you can finally save a cleanup to your favourites. • Share a cleanup to a group whenever you like, not just in the moment you finish it. Shared cleanups now show the full photo celebration instead of two small thumbnails. • Your posts stay yours. A report you shared stays a report — cleaning it later adds a "Now cleaned" line instead of rewriting the original post, and every cleanup gets exactly one celebration card. • Group links can now point at a specific post instead of dropping you in the feed to hunt for it. • Mentions show people's names instead of raw usernames, and the @ picker works in the middle of a sentence. FIXED • Signing in no longer says "too many attempts" when nothing was wrong, and staying signed in is more reliable. • On Android, location is asked once — one refusal is respected, with a way back through Settings. • Notification permission is now asked at moments that make sense. • Pull-to-refresh lands on the newest content properly. • Translations no longer add a mention or hashtag that wasn't in the original. • Reporting in a language other than your own is reliable again, including on slow connections. • A back button that was invisible in dark mode, and messages that were unreadable on the report screens. • Faster profile loading, lower memory use, and general stability improvements.
