MUST HAVE!!
A life saver of an app…downloaded and used this app while I was on a plane ride and cleared out 40gb+ of old photos!!
Concept is great, execution… not so much.
I really wanted to love this app. I’ve seen a handful of people talking about it on various social platforms, and it seemed like just what I needed to help me sort through all my photos and videos painlessly. However, I have not been able to get the app to function as stated once since downloading it. After getting through an entire album of photos/videos, you’re taken to a screen titled “Archived Media”, with a “Delete” button at the bottom. This screen shows you, in list view, all of the items you’ve just sorted through, and is supposed to allow you to double check your sorting before sending said media to the “Recently Deleted” album. The “delete” button has not worked for me at all. After spending 20+ minutes sorting through an album, and then double checking the selected things to be deleted, it’s incredibly frustrating to have the app’s main function not work.
My second major issue is the inability to resume where you’ve left off when sorting pictures/videos, or to at least have the ability to sort larger albums into smaller, more manageable groups. I have 10k+ photos on my phone, and there is no option to pick up where you left off swiping when you close the app. Thankfully I didn’t swipe all the way through the photos to find out that the delete button didn’t work at all, otherwise this review would be much lower and far angrier. But unfortunately, par for the course with the app’s functionality, the developer’s “Contact Support” form also does not work, as it’s “Submit” button works in the same way that the “Delete” button on the app does: it doesn’t. Truly disappointed by this app and its $29.99 yearly subscription price for its non-functionality.

Lifesaver
I’m always dealing with my phone glitching and shutting down for maxing out my storage but I’m always overwhelmed when I look at my camera roll to delete. This made it so easy and even kinda fun to clear space on my phone

I never write reviews, but I had to for this! My phone storage was completely out of control with thousands of unnecessary photos. Cleansta made the process effortless—just swipe right or left to decide what stays or goes. I went from 22,000 photos down to 9,800 and freed up over 40GB of space! I love how it saves my progress, so I don’t have to start over if I take a break. The interface is simple, clean, and actually makes decluttering fun. Definitely worth every penny to keep my phone organized. Highly recommend!
