About

Keep the evidence behind your creative work in one place. Clearfolio helps freelancers and small studios organize license documents for the music, footage, images, fonts and other assets in a project. Record the intended use, attach the documents you have, and capture your own review before a client handoff. BUILD A PROJECT EVIDENCE LIBRARY Add the project, client and intended use. For each asset, record its provider, source reference, licensee and notes. Attach PDF, image or text documents from Files. SEE WHAT STILL NEEDS ATTENTION Identify missing documents and assets that need your review. The recorded status means that a document is present and you have confirmed your review for the stated use. It does not mean that a license is legally valid or that permission has been granted. PRESERVE EACH HANDOFF Seal a version to preserve its recorded contents. Create a new version for later changes and compare assets across versions. EXPORT A PDF PASSPORT Share a readable PDF evidence register with project details, asset records, review dates and document references. The PDF lists the attached files; it does not embed the original documents. You can optionally share the original evidence files alongside the PDF. KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR FILES Your working library is stored on your device. Clearfolio has no account, advertising, tracking or cloud sync. Export a portable backup containing your records and attached documents, then restore it on another device. Device backups may also include app data, depending on your settings. Version 1.0 supports up to 25 MB per imported document and up to 100 MB of evidence in a backup. Built for iPhone and iPad. One purchase, with no subscription or in-app purchases. Clearfolio is a recordkeeping tool. You enter and review the information yourself. It does not analyze licenses automatically, verify copyright, grant usage rights or provide legal advice. The included example is fictional.
