Really useful app!

Really useful app! It made finding and comparing universities much easier, and everything was straightforward to use. The app is easy to navigate, and I liked having all the information I needed in one place. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking at universities or going through Clearing.

Amazing app 😊

I found it super easy to look for courses during clearing and was able to contact a uni directly. Was simple to search and find different unis I was interested in, as the app did all the work for me, it helped me so much!

A super clever app for students

This app has everything you need when considering Clearing. All in one place, you can call or directly enquire with universities at the click of a button. It’s super easy to use and a no brainer in my opinion 😃

I’m not the best at organising and time management, so having everything in one place has been very helpful and definitely takes the stress away. I like how easy it is to save courses & unis to return to them later, also having their contact details there means I don’t call the wrong numbers anymore. It’s made me feel more confident. so for that, thank you very much Uni Compare!

Handy app

Was useful for finding what universities had history courses in clearing and had me considering some uni’s that weren’t on my radar before. Also good to have all the numbers for results day in one place.

Really helpful for getting into contact with unis

Pretty easy to find courses and universities with places available and getting info from unis was much easier than going to loads of different sites. Direct calls all in one place is useful too to save waiting for replies

Many missing universities and courses

I would check this app along side with university websites and UCAS and the majority of courses and universities in clearing were not listed on this app. For example, I was looking at aerospace engineering courses and university like uni of liverpool and durham were in clearing for this as shown on their website and ucas but it wasn’t anywhere to be seen on this app. It didnt even say either of these universities were in clearing. Also, just to give another example, places like UCL and newcastle went into clearing for medicine but once again it was not listed on this app.

While some universities may choose not to work with us directly, we currently work with 80+ universities. Thanks for using the app! ツ

Not all universities are listed

None of the universities we are looking at are listed, despite them listing clearing courses on the the UCAS website. You’re better off going on to UCAS and writing a list.
If your uni is listed then I guess this would be useful

Useless.

Do NOT bother with this app. You are better off using the UCAS website looking for available clearing courses. I am from Scotland and was looking to apply to either the University of Glasgow or Edinburgh, both of which are not even shown on the app at all, even though the UCAS website clearly shows that there are courses available at both of these universities.

won’t let me register

when registering it doesn’t let me pick a “subject interest” therefore not letting me actually make an account. I pressed register later and the app seemed very useful though it would be much better if I could actually register and keep track of which unis I’m applying for clearing on. Thank you! Please help.

Rubbish

Don’t bother with this app. It’s missing most universities. I looked on UCAS and there are loads more courses listed there.

Search for Manchester: There are no universities under Manchester(!!!) Search for UCL: no results but UCL has a bunch of courses in clearing in 2025. Search for South and you get south bank and southampton but not south wales or solent. Over half of the universities in clearing aren’t on this app.

They claim they get their data from UCAS but that’s breaking UCAS terms and conditions for the use of their website. And even if they are then how come they think there’s no universities in Manchester in clearing!

We’ve reported this review due to clear misinformation — all of our courses are synced live via the UCAS database. We’ve also requested an investigation into the reviewer via Apple, as this appears to be a recurring negative submission that’s been posted around the same time each year. Please note, that unserious, and incorrect reviews are not tolerated.

Hi I recently looked at the app it seems to be really good however I was wandering if you could add diagonostic radiography cause it doesn’t seem to be an option

Not working

The App does not let me register for an account. It says that the application is not complete due to the preferred university option. However, there is no option available to pick.

Lifesaver app!!!

Luckily I did not have to use this app on results day but I had it al set up to use incase! It is a MUST HAVE app!! GREAT customer service I can’t recommend enough

If it weren’t for this app which I downloaded literally just before I got my results, I wouldn’t be going to University of Winchester through clearing, I cannot begin to thank this app enough for how it’s changed my life. I will be eternally grateful, thank you

Just great!

This app showed me all of my options and I would definitely recommend it as it shows different courses as well as the different courses per region which I found especially useful as I wanted to study in London.
The universities will contact you either by calling or by email (at least the ones I chose anyway!) so it’s so easy!
