Great app, very user friendly
The ClearInsight app is such a great app for data collection. Really user friendly and easy to use.
Too many malfunctions
Too buggy.... photo side does not update to data side. Also unable to save photos to camera roll. This is a huge hassle. I think I'm fed up with it.
Increases time
This app does not make it easier; it increases your time and the scanner is terrible. Took me over 2 hours to not complete the scanner. Waste of time!
It’s okay
I have recently started using this app. It has so many questions you have to answer. It’s ridiculous.
Time consuming application
Redundant features lead to extra long time to complete reports
ClearInsight increases the time it takes to inspect
The app eliminates many features of the prior and significantly increases the time it takes to conduct inspections in the field. The inspector is now forced to conduct lengthy redundant data entry in the field. Inspection time more than doubles. The inspector often becomes the subject of ridicule by the homeowner and is placed in a position where they are perceived as being incompetent. The app eliminates the capability for the inspector to add photos from the gallery on their device. The sketch tool places further burden on the inspector in cases where the home is cluttered, access to certain rooms is denied or not possible. There are essentially no options for work arounds such as sketching the home by hand.
The Bifurcated Appraisal Process is a nightmare in certain markets, especially when the “valuator” is incompetent and lacks understanding with regards to nuances of the local market and lacks access to the various aggregators necessary to complete an accurate appraisal. I have received numerous calls from homeowners contesting comps chosen by the valuator that reflect poorly upon me and harm my reputation as a seasoned professional with 20 years in the business. ClearInsight and this process foisted upon the industry is criminal, stealing time and money from seasoned professionals who are now forced to work with incompetent hourly employees that work from home thousands of miles from your market area.
