ClearSight now finds privacy-hardened devices that hide from regular scans — including cloud-only doorbells and IoT cameras that silently drop probe traffic. If a device is on the network, you'll see it. Faster scans. We rebuilt the scanner around tiered probing and smarter discovery, cutting typical scan times by roughly half on busy home networks. Help me decide. Unknown devices now come with guided steps to figure out what they are — check your router, look up open ports, walk the space, and decide with confidence. Sharper IR scan language. We replaced "confirmed" with "possible — investigate" anywhere we couldn't be 100% sure. You deserve accurate information, not false certainty. Honest scoping. The app now tells you upfront where it works best (short-term rentals, Airbnbs, friends' homes) and where it can't reach (hotel cameras on separate management networks). No scanner — ours included — can promise total coverage. We'd rather tell you that than pretend. Cleaner result screens. Faster to read, less alarm-fatigue, easier to act on. Polish and stability improvements throughout — including a fix for the 5-step Travel Mode display on smaller iPhones. WHY WE DID THIS The first version of ClearSight worked, but it missed devices that newer cameras specifically design themselves to evade. This release fixes that — not by claiming new superpowers, but by genuinely seeing more of what's actually there.
