About to sell my EV and acutely aware of how nervous buyers can be - especially about battery health.
I knew my battery was in good condition as I had looked after it for several years and still got great range from it. But how do you convince a buyer that you’re not just exaggerating? The answer, let this app monitor your EV efficiency over a few drives and get a thorough report.
As the app relies on a good mobile signal to monitor all sorts of things that would effect the result (terrain/speed/weather etc), I had an issue with two of my drives being over the North Yorkshire Moors and the signal had dropped and so the drive couldn’t count. However, the support at Clearwatt was first-class. Same day responses and very helpful advice.
Overall, a great app and customer service. Highly recommended.

Novel car battery health check
Just used ClearWatt for the first time on a 4yr old MINI Electric in pretty cold weather (-4 to +6 C).
You need to record 3 x 11+ mile (18km) journeys which takes a bit of time.
You get your report after the paywall at the end of the data collection.
The app is really easy to use.
My app got stuck ‘processing’ after the 3rd journey which was rectified very quickly on using the ‘report problem’ within the app.
Delighted with the pdf output: clear, helpful, informative - and invaluable for any potential 2nd hand EV buyer… especially if you get the A+ rating!

Easy to use and looks really good. Completing the test was straightforward, and the report on my Tesla at the end is really in-depth and easy to understand. Great app!

Simple app and easy to complete the test. Requires some planning of the test drives but wasn’t a problem for me. Final report was very clear as well.
