Clever Unicorns

Clever Unicorns is a playful educational app for young children who already recognise numbers and are beginning to discover arithmetic. The child chooses one of four unicorns — pink, purple, rainbow or gold — and takes it into four colourful games: • Addition: find the result of an operation whose answer never exceeds 9. • Subtraction: solve simple operations with no negative results. • Logic sequences: observe a long sequence of shapes or colours and choose the item that comes next. • Rock-paper-scissors: challenge another unicorn and be the first to score five points. Answers are entered with a single tap. A correct answer makes the unicorn celebrate and adds a gemstone to a crown. After a wrong answer, a large red cross appears and the same question remains until the correct answer is given. A visual tutorial introduces the +, −, = and ? symbols. Children do not need to read words to play the games. Designed for children: • no account; • no advertising; • no in-app purchases; • no analytics; • no Internet connection; • no personal data collected or transmitted. The app works entirely offline. Only the selected unicorn is stored locally on the iPhone.
