Sorry it's not working for you. CleverType isn't meant to replace your normal keyboard, you switch to it when you want AI help like rewrite or grammar. If the AI tools still aren't working, email support@clevertype.co and tell us what happens when you tap one.

No Support
I contacted support multiple times on 8, 9, 10, and 11 April 2026, with additional follow ups over the weekend. Despite their stated 12 hour response time, I received no response at all.
I checked spam, junk folders, and verified my iCloud and Private Relay settings everything is working correctly. The issue is clearly on their end, yet there has been zero communication or assistance.
As a paying customer, being unable to access the app and receiving no support is unacceptable. I’ve now had to escalate this through Apple for a refund.
Very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend paying for Premium if support is non existent.

Sorry, the grammar check is collapsing your paragraph and dropping parts of what you wrote. That would be really frustrating. Please email support@clevertype.co with the original paragraph and the checked result, and we’ll look into what’s happening.

Bug still there after update.

Sorry, opening CleverType still pauses your video after the update. That’s frustrating. Please email support@clevertype.co with the video app you’re using and what happens when you open the keyboard, and we’ll look into it.
